Bad image control, awkward to use, video card does not fit into camera right. Bad

i still would recommend it although i still prefer using my iphone and SLR

Nice resolution but get freez when charging and making move at same time

The resolution is great but how good is it to have a camera that will only record 5 minutes with a fully charge battery before that battery dies on you. Completely disappointed.

I liked the camera, however reading of mode and selection is poor.

Very low battery life hard to see what you are taking a picture or video of and the videos and pictures look like you are in a fish tank. I would have returned the item but I wasn't able to make it in before the 30 days ended.

I am not an expert on setting camera and video equipment speeds, resolutions, etc. The default settings provide clear images. Using the standard back does not allow for great audio but using the skeleton back the audio was very good.

It's a good sports camera for action sports and slow mo.

My camera presents irreversible problem in less than a month!

My wife and I got this camera due to all of the available accessories available for it. The camera lens is not as clear as we would have expected. I feel as if the clear casing prevents it from giving its best quality. When in plastic casing, the sound recording is not great.

This little camera is the best of the best when it comes to action camcorders. I researched these quite a bit and compared GoPro to Sony's new line and it does not even match up. GoPro invented the action camcorder and has it nailed down to a science. Not only does this come with everything you need to start filming, it is easy to use and works with the iPad and iPhone apps quite well. Plus with the hundreds of harnesses and devices to hold the little device, you can switch it in and out for a variety of shots. Plus it is easy to download the videos, however the GoPro software is not the greatest and it is just as easy to use iMovie to download the videos and convert. I went with the Silver due to the fact it has the playback screen on the back and there is no need for a 4K video since the quality is already very sharp. Highly recommend!

We filmed so many videos on vacation now we're trying to watch them and each video freezes after 10 seconds.... Frustrating

This is my first GoPro camera, and I'm very pleased with this product. This is definitely a great creative outlet for those that love shooting video. The different mounts make it possible to get a wide array of shots. The camera itself is fairly easy to operate and intuitive. The LCD screen is a nice addition to see your vantage point before shooting. Download the app to have remote shooting ability. It comes in really handy when you have your camera mounted to where you can't see your screen. Overall, this is a very fun product and camera to use!

I got the Hero Session first and the quality was pretty bad, so I upgraded to this to see if it was a 'you get what you pay for' situation. Nope, it still looks like slightly higher qualify surveillance video footage. I wanted to do some Youtube stuff and stop motion cartoons with it... but my iPhone took better photos and video. Get a third party knockoff for $40 if you need a compact action camera. this thing is a status symbol and a fad, but not a good buy.

This camera is definitely worth the money. For such a small camera it captures everything. It's like a wide selfie. Also being able to download it straight to your phone via its own WiFi that you create and the app provides awesome features to create a memorable video of your adventures. Whether if your going on a hike, travelling, going to Disneyland, going to a family party, this camera can make it more memorable and capture everything on such a small device that can fit into your pocket and it's weatherproof: waterproof, snowproof, etc.. It's versatile and it's powerful. Pictures and videos are super clear. I believe that this camera is well worth the money. However, I recommend purchasing an extra battery because it can die fast. This would be the only con to this device. Trust me, you will enjoy this camera and not regret this purchase at all.

I love the GoPro. I can take it on any activity regardless of water or atmosphere. I would say that it will not replace your regular camera. I went to Hawaii and only brought my GoPro. That was a mistake. Every time I wanted to get a close up photo, I couldn't. The connection to the phone application is a nice addition. You don't have to drain your Go Pro battery to watch a video you've taken. The battery life isn't long so I'd recommend spending $20 on an extra battery.

It works great as long it is not above 90°. The problem with this camera whend in the water proof case it over heats and shuts off with in 12 to 15 minutes. I returned the first one thinking something was wrong with the camera and exchanged it for another Hero 4 Silver, however it did the same thing. I went to the Gopro web page and read about this issue so I returned it for a refund.
