Camera case water tight. Love the touch screen. Much easier to navigate than older models.

This camera is perfect in almost every way. It is great in size and functionality. All of the accessories I could ever dream up are available. It is on the pricey side, but does exactly what I need. The only improvement I could suggest is the latch for the case. The case is built with a cheap latch to secure the camera in the case. The force that is required to close it is substantial, so I'm guessing I'll need to replace it eventually when it breaks. A metal latch is available as a replacement, which makes me wonder why GoPro didn't just build it with a metal latch and save us the trouble when inevitably the plastic one snaps. Otherwise great unit!

Very good product it only gets good with every new model

Purchased this as a dash cam for my truck and also for recording track days racing my car. Let me tell you the video quality is simply amazing! Honestly the Black is a waste of time as this records 4K and has a LCD attached already for review. The GoPro App for the IPhone could be better though. It's kinda annoying connecting the camera as it uses Wifi and Bluetooth which I don't understand but whatever!

Haven't had a chance to use my Hero 4 a whole lot yet. But, I've had it out to my goose blind three times and wow some of the footage I've collected is just outstanding. Everybody I hunt with is on the patch to getting there own and can't wait tell next year going to get one for my dog. Looking forward to some more awesome footage.

Easy set up easy to use great image even while running

Purchased the camera for a beach trip and other action type activities. I was very pleased with the ease of learning and quality of the videos. I am very happy with the purchase. I wish the battery would last longer and that it would come with a wireless mic.

I recently purchased the Hero4 Silver. I had the Hero 2 before and sold it because I couldn't see what I had filmed until I got back to a computer and downloaded the pictures. The new Hero4 lets you pair with your smart phone and see what you have filmed or taken photos of. I haven't had the chance to use it underwater yet as it is too cold in the winter time to film what I would like to see on video.

I have chosen to use this as an in the go camera for driving, walking around town, getting kids milestones from their POV., and etc. The camera is great!minhave caught some great unrehearsed moments and things that with a regular camera almost always was missed. Picture clarity is unreal, functionality is easy, even easier to use with the Go Pro app. I have found a fun camera that is a cut above the rest.

This camera is so versatile and fun to use. The picture and video quality is awesome!

I bought this camera as a birthday gift for my wife. GoPros are so small and have such a wide range of accessories, they can be mounted almost anywhere! She used it at Christmas to record our Grandbaby from the vantage point of the first gift he opened. What a priceless moment! That video alone is worth the price of the camera, but I also got a great Black Friday deal with accessories and gift cards!

Easy to use. Great quality videos. Much more versatile for action that a phone or camera.

Note that battery life is short so buy extras. Also, wide angle lens can distort pictures if you get too close on tall subjects-like rockets! Looking forward to using it underwater.

Takes awesome photo's and even better videos love that you can see the photos on screen

This is a very specific review of the underwater abilities of the Go Pro Hero 4 in the water proof case. Underwater the video was true to life with colors but lacked the enhancements that many other underwater cameras embed as part of the technology. At distances further than 15 feet the images are cloudy, washed out and focused on the particulate matter in the water rather than the giant sea turtle I was filming. When I dove deeper the image resolved and I got great shots. Please note that above the water level, the image resolution, stablilization and colors are fantastic. At this price point it may be the best underwater filming device available.

This is another great camera from go pro. Easy to use and set up. Great video and pics.
