I received my GoPro 4 Silver yesterday and planed on using it for an event later in the week. I gave myself a few days to get familiar with the camera. Out of the box the plastic ring that surrounds the lens was loose, it comes right off. How I noticed this was taking the camera to of the water proof housing, the plastic lens surround just fell out. I contacted GoPro, sent them pictures, a copy of my receipt which shows that I just purchased it and a picture of the serial number. GoPro's response was well we will send you a FedEx ground shipping label, then once we receive the camera it will take 5-7 business days to process your request, and then we will ship you out a new camera, via ground of course. When I told them that this was unacceptable and I had never even used the camera, that the problem is poor quality control on their part and I should not be inconvenienced for it. Their response was "When you make thousands of cameras some are going to have problems." I told them fine, I will return it for a refund, and that I would select another brand of action camera. The GoPro representative said, "you have that option." I guess I expected more from GoPro, I was told they were a good company with good products and customer service. The camera may be good, but the quality control is terrible and the customer-none-service is worse. I guess I expected at least over night shipping, there and back to fix THIER problem, since they offer free 2 day shipping on new orders. The expedited shipping is only for when they are taking your money, not for when they are fixing their poor quality control.

Outstanding video quality on any setting and very easy to navigate the different menus.

This GoPro was purchased for my son who is 11. He loves it. It is easy to use. He had it mastered in minutes. Photos and video are great. Bomb proof case. I don't know of any negatives other than price but I recently got it on sale and was very pleased.

This is the 2nd GoPro Hero4 Silver that I have bought my husband for Christmas. I only had to replace the 1st one because it fell over the side of The Grand Canyon and was lost to us forever. The Hero4 takes great quality video and pictures and my husband loves it! He loves the ability to download the video to his laptop or phone immediately. Very happy with camera and worth every penny.

I was pretty impressed with the quality of the video and how sturdy the little camera really is. There is a lot of accessories available for this camera out there, and with a little ingenuity you can build some on your own. Gives you awesome videos and pictures I love this camera and I would recommend it to anyone.

The camera is easy to use & easy to set up! Paired with the app, it's limitless. The GoPro is durable in the case that is included. I've crashed with it attached to my helmet and in my pocket while on my snowboard. The camera didn't show any signs of damage. The battery dies quickly in the extreme cold, so the dual battery charger is worth it to capture all of your day's activities!

Love the camera, it's easy for my non tech bf to figure out. So it's user friendly. The bust part is that the Black Friday bundle included $80 in Best Buy giftcards, which they shipped...but never activated! Pretty embarrassing to give someone a giftcard...only to find out it's empty! Luckily the manager at the Liberty MO location fixed one of the cards, the other is still pending.

The picture quality is fantastic also! I use this for Mountain Biking, Fishing, Birthday Parties and the list goes on! Great product!

I was worried about buying this do to the price since it is so small. But, if you are looking for a professional quality A/V product, that is worry free, this is it. If it's wet, air you drop it thanks to the hard case you are in good shape. I shoot family movies while on vacation, and I use it at work to record time laps of our production. it is Fun Fun Fun and worth every penny
