Since I bought this camera, I don't think it has left my sight, apart from when I am sleeping... My goal was/is to learn enough about how to use the Hero 4 Silver correctly for when my fiance and I go on our honeymoon to the Caribbean. We plan on snorkeling, diving, and sailing; all very awesome GoPro-ing opportunities!

We like the camera quite a bit. It works as advertised and has filled our needs so far. I wish the battery life was better and the controls more intuitive when you want to change options. For just turning it on and taking video, it is intuitive, though.

This is hands down the best video recording device i love it. I take it with me every where i go, every single adventure its with me to caputre hi resolution images and video hoghly recommend it. But unless u dont have an 4k tv or a coumputer with a fast processing power to edit it stay away from the black edition.

Well as you probably know by now, a gopro can help you to get that amazing footage in most all conditions. But now, it has the lcd screen to view as you're shooting footage. Basically that means this is the only camera I need on a vacation. Gets the ski shots and I can use it to film friends and fun afterwards!

The camera is great. Small, light weight, and easy to use. I love that you can see what's being recorded on the screen and that you can access your videos through the app. I would recommend this!

This is actually the 2nd one I've purchased. I love the quality of the videos and pictures. Takes better pictures/videos than my Sony HD camcorder and the included software is so easy to use and navigate. Came with 3 different case doors depending if you're using underwater, sand environments or for regular use which allows you to use the touchscreen. The cons is that battery doesn't last that long and and it doesn't come in case or pouch to put all your stuff in there. I had to purchase separate and it's not cheap. Happy with product

Only reason I bought Go Pro was for my Drone. Hero 4 Black is on par with my DJI Inspire 1 @ 1080p 60fps. Weak point on this cam is the 4k side. This cam will be the leader when they come out next year with 4k 60fps. It was a disappointment not coming out this year with that model @ the peak of the Drone world.

Since buying the GoPro I have used it everyday for swimming, bike riding, drifting, and a lot of other adventures. After showing my friends they all said "Derek I'm getting a GoPro". They all loved it and how clear all the videos and photos were.

Buy this model due to the screen on the back!!! Much simpler to operate and see you view! Usually eliminates the need for wifi control which reduces battery life! Picture quality Excellent!

This is an absolutely excellent camera for the beginner or the advanced user. The video is stunning and crystal clear. Action shots are impressive as well as slow motion. After looking at a few other cameras the GoPro Hero won hands down. I highly recommend this camera. You can't go wrong. Great quality build.

So far I am impressed. This is my first action cam of any kind and it's great so far. Bought it for a S Africa scuba trip. Haven't used it for that yet, but playing with it around the house has been very useful. Doesn't take much time to learn how to navigate through the menus. The LCD screen on the back it great

My husband and I bought this GoPro before leaving for a cruise. We had planned on doing tons of snorkeling, so we were very excited to see how this camera would do. We were not disappointed! The videos were amazing! And the pictures were great too! I would recommend this camera to anyone in a heartbeat.

I highly recommend buying this action camera! I absolutely love it I had the hero 3 black Ed didn't like it. But I decided to give go pro another shot and I was not disappointed! I highly recommend watching YouTube videos how to use the camera and edit software! I also recommend buying an extra battery

Purchased this for a trip to Hawaii. Used this for everything from snorkeling to an ATV tour and helicopter ride. Took some footage of seaturtles that my friends thought was professional footage. And I was able to post to Facebook using the app.

Go Pro can be worn, Carried , Stuck on many things to get the ideal video , But remember to keep it tightly hooked down and keep it clean after the shoot - Its waterproof when you need it but keep outer shell clean before every video adventure.

It is awesome to sync this via wifi and edit video on your smartphone. the capabilities are endless. very Impressive. You won't go wrong with this unit. Buy a few attachments, especially the flotation device. it would have been handy over labor day weekend on the lake. it takes fabulous video and pictures

We used it immediately to Zip-Line and had a blast!! Just watch where the camera is pointed and edit out all the upclose faces turning the camera off and on...We need a remote instead of shoving our faces into the camera view...LOVE GO PRO!!
