I bought my GoPro right before my family went on a cruise. Figured the money I used to buy this camera would be made up by not buying the pictures on the ship. I found that the videos are super cool but this camera is not designed to really take photos. I took this camera into the ocean and it's amazing the quality of video it took. With tons of videos taken on trip I'm still trying to put this trip into an edited movie. Don't really know how much I will use this camera from now on though.

I only had my GOPRO for a short time. The camera worked great. I placed it on my head strap while on vacation in Mexico. I liked my mask do to fog. needless to say my go pro sank to the bottom of the ocean in a instant. 30ft below. there was no way to retrieve it. purchase a floating devise for it.

For me, the LCD screen was the biggest factor when I was making my desciion for which Gopro to get. This gopro shoots in 4k but at 15 FPS, while the Gopro Hero LCD + will only shoot in 1080p. It was also on sale when I purchased it.

I picked up the Hero 4 Silver after foaming at the mouth for the 4 Black after I realized how much the Black was. The Silver was $100 less, so that's what drove me to the Silver. Unless you have a 4K TV, stay with the Silver, it's AWESOME!!

This camera is perfect for family photos, sports, videos, underwater pics, extreme sports, and so much more. I had the Hero 3 white edition and thought the pictures came out great until purchasing the Hero 4 Silver. The colors are so much more vibrant and this camera will also record in 4K. A must buy.

Bought it to use on our Italy vacation. It took great pictures and videos, very easy to use and to down load the pictures.

We've been big GoPro fans for years since the first model came out. Early testing with this newest model and it looks like they are just getting better with each new release. Cannot wait to really test it in some extreme conditions and am 100% confident it will be awesome. Can't go wrong with GoPro!

My husband is always running out of data on his phone to take video or photos. Plus, we are always traveling here and there and want to document it...so I bought this as something we could take out on our "adventures" and video. It is perfect for what we needed it for and has very high quality video.

This new version of GOPRO with LCD included is a great option to have a great camera for less money. It is amazing fot travelling, adventure and sport actions and common uses such birthdays. I have my GOPRO always with me. It would be great if they can improve batery time. However it is a good camera

Takes excellent videos and photos. My only dislikes are the battery life and the dim videos taken in low light settings.

We were in the market for a new camera to record with and were looking for one that was extremely versatile. We are very happy with the decision that we made to go with a GoPro instead of a standard camera. We are able to use it for recording our kids sporting events, parties and YouTUbe videos.

Well pleased with the camera. we were looking for a waterproof camera to use in kayacking and bicycling. we tried out the ION camera but it failed miserably and we returned it for the GOPRO HERO4. so far we have no problems with the GOPRO camera. next test will be scubadiving when the weather warms up

This is my 3rd GoPro, for speed and compact design it does the job well. On the motorcycle is takes great shots. Not so impressed underwater when diving. The focus is fixed so that makes it impossible to get clear pictures of anything closer than 3 feet. But there are options like lenses. One major complaint is that the battery life is poor. Half hour to 45 min of video. The higher the frame rate the shorter the battery life. IF you use wifi app, it will be dead even sooner.

I bought the Hero4 Silver for a trip to Alaska thinking that it would be perfect. I have been tinkering with it for a few weeks now and so far it works just great. The menu can be a little tricky to figure out at first but it has all the functionality one could want. I am extremely satisfied with it.

I bought gopro hero 4 black edition, but after close look I've decided to buy silver edition. It was difficult to understand setup on it. After 1-2 days of using I finally got it) camera is perfect! It's better than I expected!

this is my first gopro camera, wouldve gone for the black but the videos produced by the silver is as great. the lcd is useful to see what you're actually taking especially if you're not used to taking wide angle shots. the wife likes it and that's all that matters ..

Got the Hero4 as a gift for my boyfriend and he absolutely loved it!!! After much debate decided to go with this version because it'll be a nice beginner GoPro for him to get the hang of it. We normally go on cruises so the fact that it's a waterproof, action camera is definitely a plus.

This is my first try at a sports action camera. Although I haven't gotten to use it too much yet this winter, it seems pretty easy to use and I'm sure once the weather is nicer that I will have fun with it outside. Looking forward to doing some Time-Lapse photos of flowers in my garden.

Was hesitant to buy a GoPro as already had an iPhone and a DSLR. But went with to give it a try. A brilliant camera, everything is handy and useful. Use this along with GoPro app, it's just brilliant. After few days of use, I never forget to take the camera whenever I am going out for a trip.

This camera is amazing! I replaced my Contour +2 with the GoPro Hero 4 and couldn't be more impressed. I liked the GPS features with the Contour, but the picture/video quality, accessories, and cell phone app with the GoPro are light years ahead of the Contour. I will probably buy a second soon.
