I love the GoPro. As a photography student I have found this a fun addition to my regular digital camera. I can take it places that I can not take my camera so I am able to get images that I never could have before. It works great and is easy to use.

Video quality is great, camera is SUPER small. Gets bigger when you have the case on but not a big deal. Im glad i bought it. My ONLY complaint is that i wish they had a wrist t strap for the camera. Kind of like normal point and shoot cameras have.

We loved this GoPro right out of the box. We have used it waterskiing, caught a crazy swan attacking out jetski while riding, worn by student during graduation walk and ceremony, and have a countless list of ways we're gonna use it in the future.

I have tested all the GoPros available. The Hero 4 Silver edition is the best. While the Black edition does have higher quality video. It's not that big of a difference since most people may record in 4K etc but the devices used to upload or playback are not compatible with 4K. (YouTube and Facebook do not play it in 4K either). So, the Silver edition will not only save you money vs the Black, but it has a touchscreen LCD whereas the black does not. Touchscreen was a must for me! My 4 year old loves to steal the GoPro and record her own videos. They are so funny. Do your research on the specifications before you by. This is not a standard video camera. It will not zoom. It's not meant for that. Depending on the settings/ FPS it may give a choppy playback until you upload in GoPro software etc. and people tend to think it is defective when it's not. it has so many great opportunities for wonderful memories if you learn how to use it.

Purchased the GoPro - HERO4 Silver Action Camera for my daughter for Christmas. She loves it. It is so much quicker in the transfer to the iphone than the older version. The picture and video quality is also much better than the HERO3 models.

Have the silver and black, although video quality is better on the black the touch screen on the silver places it higher value than the black. The black being significantly more expensive with no screen should be rectified. Used them scuba and they worked great!

The GoPro Hero4 Silver creates some great video for an action cam. Its resolution and frame-rate options will satisfy beginners and experienced shooters. The built-in touchscreen makes previewing and reviewing and changing settings a breeze

I use this mainly for wakeboarding and water skiing, and initially I thought it would not work well because of how far back the rider is, but the camera shot is awesome and has produced high quality videos. Would recommend to anyone interested

Bought this for an upcoming Disney trip with my wife and two boys, 5 and 2. So far we have used it about 5 hours and it's awesome. Easy to use and so far has held up and thing we have thrown at it OR thrown it at! Can't wait to use it in Disney!

The GoPro Silver is great for video, the pictures are where is does not shine. Great for recording activities not just outdoors. Wish it used USB 3.0 for faster transfer speed to computer.

This thing is amazing. It takes beautiful photos and video. You can't go wrong with a GoPro. When you get it take some time to familiarize yourself with its various functions. Once you've master it's functions you won't regret the purchase.

This goPro is great! I plan to take this skiing, snorkeling, fishing and all places I visit so I can have fun and remember all the great times I go with my family to do outdoor activities. It is so easy to use and fun to share with everyone.

Bought this for my boyfriend and he loves it. This camera is crazy!. The guy at Best Buy recommended buying extra batteries because battery life isn't that long so when the battery dies just pop in the new one. Camera is worth the money.

I've had it for 2 months and love absolutely everything about it. Has great quality, great battery life, and as long as you get a big sd card you shouldn't have memory problems. I even recorded my walk at graduation and it turned out amazing.

We took this camera to Bora Bora and it worked well while snorkeling. However, the "interface" is rather complicated in part due to the lack of options. Particularly with the water proof cover on. For example, during one of my dives, I was recording and then turned off the camera but hit the "mode" button instead of the "record" button. Over time I will figure that out, but as a new camera, there are only three buttons that when pressed do different things. By hitting the mode button, the camera wiped out my recording because i didn't stop it first. Pretty steep punishment for hitting the wrong button on a new device.

My first action camera, I bought this to record motorcycle rides. I can't believe the picture quality that comes from such a small unit at this price. Would definitely buy it again

It´s a great product, great image quality. Durable, robust, just bought it days before they announce the Hero 5 :( Disadvantages: Battery life, water drops stay in the camera cover in the lens area, sometimes you can´t get a good picture due to it.

I've always been in love with go pro videos. Many of my family members have go pros but they were the previous generations. So I thought I'd give the hero 4 a try. I took it to Disney and I was able to shoot the entire day's worth of 4K film on only 1.5 battery life. The video was clear and the sound quality was perfect. The only drawback I see is that when shooting on 4K on the silver, the frames can get very glitchy due to it only being 15 fps, but you can shoot at 2.7k perfectly but other than that, it's an amazing camera.

The GoPro hero4 was everything they said it would be and does everything it is said to do! Picture and video quality are great! I will buy a second GoPro in the future. We love it!

great quality camera. Takes a little getting used to because it get the most out of it you should edit your videos, but there's a plethora of videos online and on their site that teaches you basics. But super easy to use and great quality!
