The Black Friday deal was really a steal with the 64GB memory card and an $80 in-store gift card. Through my first couple of uses the picture has been great and easy to download onto my phone to be uploaded for sharing. I did note while playing on the HDMI to my TV that the device would often overheat and freeze making live play a bit frustrating, but overall very happy with the purchase.

We used the GoPro constantly on our trip to Aruba. It was small easy to use and lots of fun. We got great underwater video and pictures.

I bought the first Go Pro Hero camera and sold it as it was very difficult to operate, I had to carry around 3 pages of directions to work it. Purchased this and a Sony Action cam AV2000, for my 2 sons. Go Pro much better. More accessories available. Way Better night mode. Easier use. Sony app isn't user friendly. If your deciding between Sony and Go Pro. Choose the Go Pro.

Video turns out stunning and pictures are not bad either. If your wanting good sound make sure to buy a separate housing. The water proof housing muffles sound a little. Low light actually works pretty good too. After messing with other go pros the silver should be the cheapest go pro to consider all cheaper models have too many limitations and built in batteries for other models limits record time. Make sure to get extra batteries for silver or black models filming for 50 minutes in 1080 usually drains battery completely

Great camera with tons of functions. If you haven't had a GoPro before it will definitely take a little getting used to but once you've learned how to use the 3 basic buttons you'll be good to go. I recently took my GoPro with me on my trip to Alaska and it worked great recording all the camping, canoeing, and hiking that I did. Having an LCD touch screen on the back so you can see what your shots are going to look like, and the ability to swap batteries makes this a clear winner over some of the other GoPro models. If you're just getting into action cameras, or have been using them for a long time. This is the camera you can depend on.

It is no surprise that GoPro has been a leading the industry for years now. This is just another example of why. The iphone app is a cool step forward, but i would like to see more stability. The Video this device captures is Amazing. Other products might be cheaper but this is totally worth the extra money.

The GoPro is an amazing camera!!!!!!! It is great for adventuring because it takes beautiful photos and quality videos. If you are looking for a great portable camera to capture memories I would definitely recommend getting the GoPro!

Truly the smallest and most feature-packed video/photo camera I've owned. As a trainer and photographer, having something that can work while I'm working makes a difference to how much time I can devote to my work and not my camera.

We bought this GoPro as a family present for vacations and such. The first time we used this camera was about 60 feet below water. Captured such amazing videos of our scuba adventure. Would absolutely recommend this product to anyone!

Best gift I ever got! Wanted one for awhile, and finally got one for my college graduation. Read the user guide and easily learned to operate it. Took it along on a service learning project trip to capture my amazing experience there.

The quality of this camara is amazing! The pictures and videos look hd, the only thing i dont like is when the waterproof housing is on, the sound is not so good when recording videos. But overall really happy with my purchase!

This is a great little camera, it's perfect for mounting inside a vehicle. Waterproof for taking pics on the lake. The wide view lens is perfect for picking things up that is otherwise missed! Thinking about purchasing a second one!

We enjoyed using the gopro on a family trip, hikes, and of course any water activities. (the real reason for purchase) It is easy to use and download photos and video. However, fFrom the beginning, and particularly noticible about 2 weeks - the battery just didn't charge correctly. It wasn't holding a charge even when it was not in use. Best Buy fortunately provided a battery replacement when we went in. This one works great. Wish there was either a zoom capability. Otherwise, great camara when near or in water

I did plenty of research before I decided to buy this GoPro and I do not regret it. I am able to record and snap pictures and it honestly has not disappointed me. It takes a while to get used to but once you do you learn to love it

I love my GoPro Hero 4 Silver, definetely worth all the money I spent. Bought it for my vacation in Mexico and I have some amazing videos and pictures! Very happy with my purchase.

Bought it for my son and he is enjoying his "new toy " like a kiddo. Great camera for underwater adventures as well. Lots of gadgets come with the kit and more accessories to choose from. A good way to keep them entertained outdoors.

did alittle research between the silver and black, decided to go with the silver since it came with the built in screen, I have been using it more like a camcorder so far so need to see what im shooting. very happy with my purchase

This is an amazing camera. We purchased the dog harness and strapped it to the back of our dog. It was the perfect height to see directly overtop our dogs head! My daughter also used it when swimming and the recording was great.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband. He wanted to try it out on his gun for hunting. If there is a way to zoom in, we haven't figured it out. But it will work perfectly for rides on the tyrex and other such things.
