Purchased this item for my boyfriend for his birthday. He was so surprised and in love. He's already used it for a race & cruise we went on.

Camera was excellent, recorded a trip for 2 weeks on vacation, got home to edit the videos and it was a pain in the neck, my laptop has a Intel core i7 6700HQ, 4 cores, at 3.50GHZ turbo speed, 16GB DDR4 ram, and a NVIDIA 960M, plus a 256GB SSD! was NOT able to edit 2.7k video at 30 fps on Sony Vegas or Adobe Premiere pro, so laggy it looked like an image with audio, playing at 0.5fps at quarter res. I could not believe it, recorded it on a class 10 90Mbs 4k micro SD card, and transferred my SSD drive before editing, I ended up having to downscale raw video to 720p, edit it, delete the 720p raw files and replace it with the 2.7k files, worked fine but a 2 hour step I should not have had to do based on PC specs. My 4k Lumix camera and my Sony FDR-AX100 will shoot in 4k and edit full res no problem at all. I ended up returning the Go-pro and gimbal I bought for it because of this issue, but the camera itself is great! If you think your PC can handle the files, go for it.

I enjoy using this camera very much. Had fun taking videos of things I did and showed my grandma.
