Bought this to video rugged right of way conditions for my job. Works wonderfully and the ability to view/control camera via the phone app is great.

Go pro has really upped their game for the Hero 5. So much better than the 3 and 4. Love the photo and video quality. Battery life is great as well.

I love that the camera is waterproof without need for additional cases now, and has the screen built into it. Picture quality leaves something to be desired, but that's just GoPro for you. Still, a super nifty addition to my camera bag!

I had almost all go pro they put in the market. I believe now they found one that cover all points. scream, battery, quality, noise... great camera!

I had the Hero 4 and Im so happy I upgraded. Being able to go underwater wirhout a case alone is worth it and having rhe option to shoot in 4k is great!

This camera can take a lickin and keep on kickin. Once the firmware is uploaded you can get more options in FOV. Not having to put it in a protective case for underwater shots is a huge step forward. This camera can be put through a lot.

At first I wasn't crazy for this purchase but after playing with the settings I love the way the pictures and videos come out. Great for vacations

Been wanting gopro for years but quality has been lacking. This camera is superb. Takes great shots. Screen is much easier. Many on camera edits/enhancements. App works well. Mounted to car of hood for 2 hour drive without a problem. Video was excellent and sound was better than expected for a moving vehicle shot. Check your SD card for compatibility. The one in the promo from Best Buy caused many headaches. Several reformats and no luck. Seems that under 64 gb doesn't play well with go pro. Oh well, the 32 gb will hold a lot of music for the car rides.

Used it on my recent vacation and it was excellent took great pictures underwater and good quality video underwater. Highly recommend this product!

Im no expert, but this camara its great inuses it for under water videon with my son and the pocture quality its great. I recommended to anynone.

excellent easy to use app and portable camera the screen makes it nice for you to see what your recording.

Bought this for a vacation and was amazed by the quality of the videos and still photos. True 4K HD quality when viewed on compatible TV.

The firmware also needs to be updated a soon as you first use your product. I kept on running into problems until I updated the camera. Also, It would be a good idea to buy another battery since the battery dies quickly from my experience.

Love the touch screen and the 4k seems to be very good on such a small camera

My favorite part of this thing is the fact that it is waterproof out of the box. It is also great that it has a touch screen to review and preview things. The voice control is very useful but I do advise getting the remote to take selfies without talking as well if things are too noisy. I do have one complaint that may be my fault but I’m not sure. When I connected it to my phone to check media as well as feed, I could not get the GoPro to turn off. I would hold the power button, it would turn off but 10 seconds later it would turn back on. Same story when I turned it off using my phone. The only way I could turn it off was to take out the battery. If that can be corrected then all is good. For me though the price should be $300-$350. It’s up to you if the price is worth it but it does get my recommendation.

Love it! Easy to use. Intuitive controls. Highly recommend, especially for diving. Saved me much on extra bag fees. Biggest disappointment is they don't mention that you can't watch 4K on an iPad. Also it's one more new charging cord.

Spent more than I expected but the image quality is incredible. Wide angle is a bit annoying but it doesn't matter when the result is as good as it is.

Bought this just before our trip to Hawaii. It was great for recording while at the beach, snorkeling, and even took it up parasailing.

Great camera. Gopro owns the action camera market. I have had a Hero3 for 2 years. I am very happy with the new Gopro 5 and the changes they have made.
