We bought this to take to Niagara Falls and we used it while Zip Lining and got really good video, it was clear.

I use it for cycling. Have it mounted on my helmet. Perfect for capturing scenery and shooting actions shot.

Used it on a vacation in Belize. We went snorkeling and it is some of the best photos and video i have ever made.

Camera works nice.It is heavier and larger than the 4. It wont work in any of the old cases because of the size. So heavy wont work with ny drone. its nice that it is waterproof right out of the box.

Exelent under water pictures and adventure sports. The best part great pictures as a regular camera too.

Gopro 5 has vastly improved the sound in the camera for video. It is clear and easy to hear. Also videos are perfect.

Takes great video but found that, to my horror, some of my videos were corrupted when transferring them to the PC via USB to the camera. Take my advice, pop the card and use a card reader.

The detail from the videos and still pictures is better than I was expecting. Love the non-fish eye wide frame!!

Camera did what I wanted it to do. Used it on a vacation to Colorado. White water rafting and hiking. It will probably be even better once I have time to play with all the different settings and learn to maximize all the features to my benefit. Might bump it to five stars when I do learn to use it fully. Be sure to buy an extra battery or two and spend the $20 or $30 on the dual charger so you will always have 2-3 batteries ready to go. I used an aftermarket head mount while rafting. It was great, a lot of great footage. Will take it on a dive trip soon. Hope I can get great pictures underwater as well. For an action camera, I don't think there are any true competitors.

Not much setup required. I wish the battery life was longer but with the additional battery and wall charger it helps.

Everything is great except the battery Life. I would still recommend this camera along with an extra set of batteries.

It is great anywhere. it is great for cookouts, parties and vacations. The photo and camera quality are stunning.
