I say this because the video is flat and has good built in microphone which when you compare to other 4k action camera they all fail on it. Recently there was an update for the microsd compatibility, just make sure when you buy 1 visit their website for the compatible one as you cannot get the full feature if you buy a slow microsd card

Awesome Camera!

Coming off the previous year session camera, it was so nice having the display. Easy upload and software updates. Fast setting changes. Amazing! I use the camera a lot of cycling but also hiking and taking cool photos. Video stabilization was a big plus with this camera and is noticeable compared to previous models. Enjoy!

Awesome camera for a beginner

I got the Hero 5 because of the cost and I have to say, that I’m glad I got it instead of the Hero 6. I’m starting a YouTube channel and I’ve heard that a lot of YouTubers started out with a GoPro. Some still use them to this day.

Great camera, confusing setup
