Although you cannot adjust all the options without using the smartphone app, the added voice commands is a nice touch do getting that footage you may miss fumbling with to the right setting on the LCD. Can't wait to get this on the slopes this season and see how the audio turns out without the need of a case.

A Great Camera!!

I also have the Hero 3+ which is a great camera also, but I do like the function to view and play back the recordings or pictures right on the Black camera. I've been on a bumpy bike path and it does stabilize the picture. Gone thru a tunnel area where there was hardly any light and it did adjust to make filming possible.
