When holding this camera it feels powerful although it's small, and the video was incredibly clear.

The GoPro offers great flexibility for spontaneous photos while traveling. I travel with a DSLR, a point and shoot and now a GoPro. I reach for my GoPro more than the point and shoot. In fact I started with a Session model and after a month I upgraded to a Hero model.

This is an excellent action camera but the accessories are still trying to catch up. It is difficult to pair with my IPhone because the process is not user friendly or intuitive. I'm also new to the true ability of the Hero5 and look forward to getting the hang of making videos. The removing of the door to expose the ports is a pain and I even broke the door on the first day, that was frustrating! I just leave the door off now.

love my go pro but no need to buy the sd card for 130 when u can get it for 50 n u can shoot 4k

I've tried the original Session, the $199 GoPro, the Hero5. The 6 is where it's at. With the image stabilzation on it, it completey removes that jitter from footsteps while you're walking. Amazing 4K footage! Used it in the Bahamas for snorkeling, and it worked like a champ.

Great camera. Used for whitewater rafting. Took great video. Stablized. Took great still shots.

I bought this camera as a second camera as a second camera for my videos. it's a great camera companion to my hero 4 black as they share many of the same modes. I'm not a fan of having to buy all new holders and batteries for the camera though. But I guess that is to be expected with gopro.

Very fun camera with stunning video capture. It has greatly helped film experiences on the go.

Bought this GoPro Hero 5 last Christmas 2016. Except for the SD card Error issue, which probably is caused by the SD card, I am enjoying taking videos with this little video recorder. I love that you have a lot of options to take your videos. I will use this recorder on my future road trips.

My fiancé and I purchased this camera for our first major vacation to China. This camera worked out amazing with the wide angle lens. I also love how it connects to my phone to view live or to watch the videos after shooting. Definitely buy a selfie stick. Makes all the difference.

I read the reviews before buying this because I've never owned a GoPro. Overall, the quality of the product is great. The pictures and videos come out clear. It definitely is waterproof without an extra case. The only reason I cannot give it a full 5-star is the occasional "extra" lag it has when taking pictures. Sometimes I miss a moment because it took a couple of seconds to load. Overall, I give this product a 4.5/5 stars.

Good camera. Good quality on 4k videos. The quality of the photos could be better.

It's a good action camera. Haven't usd it much but when I have the battery doesn't last long.

The on screen set up process was great, very helpful during set up and for making changes later.

The best feature is the one botton system. I would recomend the session 5 , is more than enought.
