Like these cameras had original one, good to go underwater Got the 5 cause of much better useable features, lost it first trip sailing down river in windrider, very slippery and mounts are not always reliable. Called go pro, they promised to send email to register loss and get credit. Never got either emails. Looking for other options

I am very happy with my purchase. I had a Go Pro 3 and was ready for an update. This camera is great. I love the enclosed screen, waterproof case it is built inside. If i could change anything it would be the top clasp of the frame case. It is to hard to get open to remove camera.

My first action camera so far and I’m loving it. The only thing preventing this from getting 5 stars is the design of the case holder. When you have the GoPro in it you are not able to access the charging port on the left side because they made the hole too small for it to be able to acces it from the outside. Instead you would have to remove it from the case to be able to use the charging port.

overall the camera is great along with the features... but the battery doesn't last very long.

Accessories are the death of me... they are expensive and required for basically everything... I wanted to use it for a dashcam ($50 suction cup) I wanted a tripod mount(had to buy a combatible mount piece and then a tripod) I wanted To charge the battery without using the camera ($50 for batter charger) It racks up but the camera is great

It's versatile and works great. I love that I can use voice commands to take pics and video.

Love this thing. Very fun to have while exploring life. I don't know how I lived without it.

I bought this for my 15 year old daughter and it is so easy to use a she loves it

My only issues with this camera is the battery life!!! The battery really drains quickly.

GoPro is e actly what I expected. BUT I got this from best buy because it comes with 16 GB memory csrd and $50 best buy gift card and the other seller has accessory package and I thought best buy deal is a steal. I picked it up at the local store and they said I would get the gift card and memory card through mail in 4-6 weeks. It will be 6 weeks next Wednesday and I still have not received them yet. 5 more days!@

This is the best GoPro yet. I have three of them. GoPro 4 Hero Silver, GoPro 4 Session and not the GoPro 5 Hero Black. It has a good stabilization that helps my videos. Although the voice control at times picks up conversations and stops it. But just turn that off and you are good.

This is a really good camera but by moving away from the traditional GoPro interface the camera is no longer compatible with devices made for 3 and 4 series cameras. That's a big problem given the large user base for the 3 and 4 series which are no longer available for direct purchase at most retailers. Great camera for wet shooting.

So far so good ... took it on vacation & it works great! I just wish it had a zoom option!

Bought for child to use mostly. was pretty easy to set up and figure out.

overall good item but could be better. maybe they will make improvements in the future

took this on a fishing trip to Alaska and it worked flawlessly great pictures

This has been a crucial part in capturing my adventures. Hiking, riding dirt bikes or kayaking, this camera will take the abuse of it all. The voice activation is a nice addition and the video stabilizing is a great feature.

didn't stick it tightly on my vehicle and the camera fell onto the road. I picked it up later and found it was still recording and just some scratches on the case. I am not sure if the wheels after me touched my camera so better have an insurance. It's a sports camera after all.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my Son, who is really looking forward to using this!

Video seemed to be good but just didn't like the way it worked with my other devices.
