I've really enjoyed this camera and everything you can do with it. From the voice commmand to the touch screen. The Claire app has really come in handy for taking very cool video and pictures. As well as getting to the pictures quickly to post or edit. Only downside is battery life. The capture app does help in conserving some battery life. Wish there was a more efficient way to charge it on the go or just longer battery life. But that's to be expected with all the features the camera has. Overall very pleased with the purchase.

Great GoPro, i had the GoPro session and was not really a fan. This action Cam is user friendly, Everything is super easy to use and understand. Having the app on your phone and computer make it that much easier. Not only does it record in 4K but the pictures that it takes are also great, really clear. I would recommend this GoPro Hero5 over any other action cam for sure.

First GoPro, voice activated, easy to learn, touch screen, wifi, awesome.

We had our GoPro 4 stolen, so we decided to upgrade to the Hero 5 when we bought a new one. The picture quality and the steadiness of the video are awesome! We have already used it to record fun snorkeling adventures and even weddings; we are very happy with the resulting images and videos. The touch screen is intuitive and it is easy to switch between modes.

So far, so good. I like how it records and takes pictures. I love the feature that it's waterproof, such a plus for me. I do hate the fact that the camera itself can become so expensive bc of all the accessories you have to purchase separately. I got it with a free memory card part of the promotion they had going on so that was a plus. Overall, it's great.

I was not able to decide if I should wait for nikon 170 or buy this. I had hero3+ and saw major improvements like voice commands, waterproof without case, smaller body etc. I guess one problem I see is battery drains off while in the unit. NOTE: be careful inserting SIM card. Don't lean against the battery. Instead lean the sim card against camera wall. I ruined my card and camera by pushing through the gap which was not sim slot but can easily take it. Best buy was nice to fix that issue by removing the card without any charge.

Best Action Camera in the market. Performance has no match to other cameras in the market. Picture and Video quality are just amazing.

Bought this just before a ski trip to replace an older model that didn't work after 2 years. The GoPro clarity is amazing and the associated apps make it user friendly for watching the video, making clips and short highlight videos. Easy to use and voice activation worked well for when the camera was mounted on a helmet. Recommend backup battery and SD card.

I bought this for my son to use when he was in Michigan's Upper Peninsula for the month. We got some great video from his experience.

This is my first Go Pro so i have nothing to compare to other then some research i did online however this thing rocks and i love the features and the touch screen display. nice and compact and waterproof. definitely a nice camera to have if you are a professional photographer or just an average person trying to record everyday life with family and friends .

I chose this GoPro for my adventure trails when I go trekking! It serves the purpose of clicking amazing pictures and great clarity.

I purchased the GoPro Hero 5 Black back in the beginning of December to give it a few months before making a final judgement call. The GoPro Hero 5 Black is an excellent camera that records stunning video, time-lapse pictures, or just pictures. The color comes out beautifully, and the fine tune options available make this camera great for any type of environment! With that being said, I have experienced several counts where the screen is either laggy, or unresponsive. The playback on the camera can take anywhere from 30-60 seconds, and there's a 50/50 chance that I can get the play/pause button in the middle of the screen to disappear. Also, while driving, there have been several times where the camera will just automatically turn on, then turn off. Back when my Micro SD card was full, I couldn't even turn on the camera without it giving me several rapid beeps, followed by a notification that the memory card was full, then it would shut off before I could do anything. I had to take the camera off of it's mount, remove it from it's case, remove the SD card, remove the battery, wait 15 seconds, and then put it all back together just to get a chance at formatting the card... I was driving! Overall, the camera takes amazing footage, and comes with some very nice features, but it is overloaded with bugs! I have updated the firmware every time there is an update available hoping that I will be relieved of my troubles, but alas, I have not been. It is still a great camera, but for the price, I expected better. Maybe mine is just defective? Who knows!?

Good quality videos/photos. Size is great for use during activity. Battery life is not good and leaning how to upload is challenging.

The go pro is an easy tool and very easy to figure out how it works. Very good at Bluetooth for receiving your videos and pictures

I always have my GoPro with me when i am on vacation. The 4K camera is amazing and the video/images come out so crisp and clear.
