I am an avid bicyclist and am very happy with my GoPro.

I've had it for 3 months and have used it to film tennis, hiking, and skiing. It functions really well and we had a lot of snapshots. It is easy to operate and the battery can work for 1.5 hours of continuous filming.

What's not to love? The camera is awesome, image stabilization is great. They have improved the access compartments for charging and file transfer. The screen contrast seems better. Many more options that previous model.

Love that GoPro has finally provided us with a case and a built in display. However, wish it was the same format as the previous case that was all enclosed. I miss the added screen and lens protection. Also, even though there seems to be cut-outs where the av and ac ports are, you really cannot access it without taking the cast off.

The battery doesn't last much. Great shots and quality.

So It's basically GoPro 4B with boosts ! only issue is : old accessories not necessarily works with that unit. Cam housing, 3 axis stabilizers, batteries ... all need to be retrofitted or replaced ... keep in mind.

Couldn’t wait to have to use underwater and as general film device. Can’t zoom in/out, phone app locks, small screen for knowing what your filming. People make look easier than it really is to get good footage and create something out of it.

Love the voice commands. The picture is great. 1080p

I bought this not too long before the new one came out. It's a bit disheartening.

We purchased the GoPro for vacation to videos of our swimming with the dolphins, but the video did not work. We tested everything out a week before we left for vacation to make sure everything was working and it was, but when it was time to use it on vacation it failed us. Images were fine and came out very well, but the when we attempted to use the video we received an SD card error. This error made the camera unresponsive for video and stills. We had to turn off the camera repeatedly just to get it back functional for taking stills. We tried multiple SD cards of varying sizes and the result was the same every time. We returned the camera when we returned from our vacation. My daughter has the 4, so we just used hers with no issues.

The Hero 5 is the best GoPro yet. I love the built in screen and GPS capabilities. The app integration is also terrific. I upgraded from a Hero 3 and have not looked back. The 5 looks great and performs fantastic.

Besides not being able to use Hero 4 battery this camera is awesome. There's so many things to do in settings that I can be overwhelming at first but there is a tutorial video on the camera that you can watch whenever.

Small size that's easy to carry around and easy to use

I have used this camera on several trips. I love this camera, the gimbal makes it even more amazing! I used this camera for a documentary film in East Africa and was not disappointed. Go ahead, make the purchase.

Is pretty good but lacks the ability to zoom in also
