Excellent internal stabilized footage and waterproof

It's really good for taking videos while hiking...

Initial set up was difficult and not spelled out well. Still can't get wi-fi to work and can tell by blogs that this is not an isolated issue. The Go Pro Hero 5 Black does take amazing video and stills, but the set up and connectivity are second class at best.

I used the Hero5 for the first time on an ice fishing trip to Canada. The ability to give voice commands is and was a great feature for starting and stopping the recordings and as well as saving on battery power.

Great upgrade from the 4. The auto upload feature, image stabilization, and waterproof casing is all worth the cost. This is even cheaper than the release of the 4. If your going for your 1st Gopro, get the 5 black.

Incredible quality for a secondary motovlogging camera, especially because of the image stabilization which smoothes out shaky motorcycle video, like butter!

Like so many other reviews have said, this is a phenomenal camera for making action videos, and even home videos for YouTube and other tasks that you wanted to create and then edit. I absolutely love this camera!

Overall good camera... Only thing missing is zoom!

Grate camera not much differences from the hero 4.

I have bought a few other action cameras trying to save some $$$, but I have to say after buying the Hero 5 Black, there is no going back. This one works perfectly for anything I have attempted to use it for.

The GoPro 5 Black is fantastic because of it's improvements over previous versions. It is user friendly, water / environment friendly, and it's accessories make it the most versatile action camera I have owned.

This is my first GoPro and I have fallen in love with it. It takes great pictures and videos in the city or nature. This camera is very simple to use and it gives you multiple ways to capture shots! I'm in love

I am not a xtreme sport guy, but it is an awesome camera to have. You can put in on your drone, chest, helmet ( since I am a baseball player) or everywhere you go. I LOVE IT. Good price with the $60 Gift Card.

I like that the GoPro hero 5 is a touch screen. It makes it much easier to make sure that it is recording than cameras that you have to use your phone to tell if it is recording. I would recommend this camera!

awesome video, voice control a big plus a good buy

I could not be happier with my purchase. The voice commands are the coolest feature of this camera. I wear with a head strap and simply tell it when to start and stop recording...highly satisfied!!! 5 stars!!!

This is the first GoPro I have ever purchased so I am still trying to learn how to master it. Two of my favorite features are the direct Bluetooth syncing from the GoPro to your device and the time lapse

I finally upgraded from a Hero 2 to this an it is a massive improvement! 2.7K at 60 fps gives good resolution with a frame rate high enough for smooth playback of action sports. I wish the live view over WIFI had a bit more range though. The feed starts to cut out after about 15-20 feet when paired with my iPhone 6s.
