I used this GoPro while traveling to Bahamas and diving in reefs. I also used it for skiing in the Swiss Alps. The camera did not disappoint. It has many features that make it the go to.

Now it's better than ever all, and more from previous version. Now up to 4K 30 fps which I prefer 1080 p 120 fps I just love this gadget.

The GoPro Hero 5 Black, with its new stabilization feature works great mounted to the windshield of our RV...even over the roughest roads!

This is my first GoPro purchase, but I love it. I can't wait to take it on vacations and really put it to the test. So many functions in such a small camera and really like the touchscreen.

The actual video quality was decent, the video stability was not good unless you used an extra gimbal. gopro will make your camera obsolete by releasing something better after a few months after the last release

Got the gopro for action sports and I have a new baby. The voice activation is amazing. I can just tell gopro to start recording at any time to capture moments with the little one.

Easy to use we love this camera! We have used it from mountain bike riding to filming dolphins in the ocean. Very easy to download the images to our laptop. So glad that we bought it!!

The day my grandson got this camera the rear screen went black.

The camera is easy to use and set up. Still haven't gotten a lot of mounts so my use is limited but I have noticed if it gets to hot it freezes up and has to be restarted. This has happened several times after mounting to my dash.

I'm a owner of the Original Gopro, the Gopro2 the 3black, the 4black and a session and when I saw the New Hero 5 I had to add it to the family, this camera is the camera Gopro always wanted to make, voice activation, Electronic Image Stablization ,low light a new Linear mode to remove Fisheye from the video, the audio is amazing and the camera right out of the box can be used under water to about 30 feet, the New Hero5 has a touch screen that makes setting the perfect setting fast and easy and you can see the changes as you adjust them to get the shoot you are looking for. Battery life is longer and the camera will shut down if you forget and leave it on in about 15 minutes. the best part about this camera is it's $100 priced less then the Hero4 black when it came out and does more way more. you can use all your mounts and the camera works with the new Karma Drone coming soon.

Lots of features. Too many for me. Controls too small. The versatility of the GoPro is amazing, but my old hands, eyes and lifestyle really are better suited for a more traditional camcorder. One with a larger viewfinder, smooth zoom, useful features and good image stabalization (which the GoPro does have). A more knowlegeable associate would have saved me some time and the bother of exchanging for a choice more suited for my needs. I would recommend a GoPro for all my surfing, skateboarding, avalanch-hopping pals and grandchildren, but not most of MY 70+ y/o buds! Ultimately, exchanged for a Panasonic V-770. camcorder after doing my own research.

Love the Camera, however the video shacking gets a bit overwhelming when watching the videos. Not a problem though, the gimbal fixed that for me.

Small compact. Great for hiking or extreme sports. This particular camera is waterproof. No need for casing. Have used for snowboarding and snorkeling. Great picture quality of 4K.

Great HD action camera, battery is good, 32gb storage is minimum, would recommend getting two cards or a bigger size than 64gb. Careful with USB door, mine came off easily and broke.

This cam has exceeded all of my expectations! There is a learning curve to it to take advantage of everything it can do, but there are a ton of YouTube videos to help out with this.

The gopro 5 is a great action camera. I uses it as a secondary camera when I do video shoots and it does great. I love the voice command that it has, it makes it super easy to use.

Its compact and full of features including a touch screen but the touch functions could use some work, not exactly intuitive and either too sensitive or not sensitive enough. Also recharge port is very hard to open.

Got Hero5 to record my son growing up. The versatility is perfect for my growing little guy. When he's playing with his cousins, the chest strap accessory created some great memories.
