If you already have a GoPro Hero4, the 5 isn't going to blow it out of the water. Video quality is reasonably similar, but where it does shine is image stabilization and battery life. Easily able to get about double the battery life I'm used to from my Hero4.

This is a great upgrade for an action camera. This one's better than the older version because you do not need a bulky case just to protect it. It's already protected!

By far the biggest leap GoPro has taken with a new product. In-house stabilization, voice-activation, and automatic upload are just a few of the big improvements made.

I purchased this camera for my son, he really likes it. Just be aware that not all SD cards work with this camera, even the ones that GoPro say will work. BestBuy was really helpful in assisting to figure out the issue and replace the card with one that worked.

One great thing I love about this is that I can just press on the record button when it's off it'll record right away without turning it on like the previous models.

I use it for everything.. trips to the zoo, the park and doing vlogs. bought a few extra batteries the external mic adapter and rode mic.. cam works like a dream.

Super easy, the best quality Love it. I bought this for snowboarding and adventures. I have had a few issues pairing it via Bluetooth other than that it's perfect.

The battery lasts a couple of hours and the charger takes forever. My guess, they're roping people into buying the accessories to increase battery life and charging speed. Dishonest.

camera is great but the memory card (sandisk extreme plus was glitchy. ended up getting a new memory card and it was perfect. (I think the card was just defective)

Take it to the beach all the time and it works great! Had some trouble with formatting the mico SD card in the beginning, but experienced no other problems after.

it does good job, specially command recording and from front you cam tell its recording, after recording it connect to ur smart phone and u can see what u record.

The camera is really good for adventure recording. Excellent image stabilization. Best to go camera, buy with mounting accessories to get maximum out of it.

Would definitely recommend picking up some accessories. The built in stability is ok, but you would need something like the Karma Grip to get true stability.

Picked up a Gopro, purchased on a whim use it way more than all my other gear very pleased with it, also download Gopro capture makes it even more versatile!

The new GoPro 5 black is a great camera for the adventurer or vlogger. The voice commands feature is incredible and works without any issues, which amazed me!!!

The screen on this camera is amazing!! Although it's a little complex considering all the possible functionalities, it's still an overall fantastic product.

Great camera! Had it once or twice within a month where the camera froze one me but simply reseting it or turning it off and back on fixed it with no problem

I love this camera for when i want to Introduce action shots in music videos I direct. It’s clarity underwater is amazing for such a small camera.

Positive upgrade to hero4. Had issues with hero4 overheating. Waited for hero5 to come out. Bought on launch day. Runs super cool. Love features. Fantastic camera

I had the Gopro 3 then the 4 and now i got the 5 and it's completely worth ti! They fixed many issues the older model had and they added new features. Its great!
