The camera is great. Is was hard to snap a "selfie" picture due to the location of the button. I would definitely recommend purchasing the remote.

I awarded only 4 stars to this latest camera release and that is because this is a second time that I had to exchange the GoPro - HERO5 Black 4K camera due to malfunctioning. I have been using GoPro for few years and never had a problem.

Super easy to use with an intelligent design. You need to be close to whatever you are shooting since it's a wide lense but the quality is amazing.

If someone is looking for point and shoot sturdy cameras, then GO pro is always the best choice to go for. If you want to zooma nd do other stuff, then I would recommend to go for waterproof cameras. It basically depends. whats your use is!!

It would have been nice to know that the go pro needed to have a memory card to be operational. Kind of put a damper on Christmas morning. The tutorial on U Tube was very helpful but having a friend on hand that was familiar was even better!

This is a great product that I used for basic hiking and my vacation. I would recommend accessories like the extending hand held stick.

If you owed MacBook Pro with touch bar, you can use the same cable (USBC) to charge and transfer your video. Software for mac is working great.
