It does what it needs to do. I have one issue with the camera...the mic is pretty worthless. After so many variations of the GoPros, they still can't get the mic right.

This camera is going to be used for action activities outdoors in all conditions. Paintball, airsoft, dirt bike racing & water activities.

Decent 4K camera but the user interface needs a lot of work, the lack of dedicated buttons and unresponsive touchscreen are very poor, therefore I cannot recommend this product.

Great action camera. Lost gopro 3 in the ocean. Received as a gift Xmas. Even better features than before. Didn't think that was possible

After owning a Hero 2 I was expecting there to be a big difference in the video quality of the new Hero 5. After reviewing the video I was very disappointed in the quality. It always appeared grainy no matter what settings I used (tried Pro mode, setting ISO manually to 400, shooting in brighter light etc.). I eventually returned it and spent a little more money on a Canon G7X Mark II. I am BLOWN AWAY at the quality of this camera. It is stunning and far beyond what I wanted. It was a way better investment than the Go Pro. Unless your shooting underwater, or on a car at 80mph I would check out the Canon for a little more money.

Sold my Hero 3+ Black because I was sick of the housings! This thing is great, no more lugging around 50 housings for each scenario!

I love this product!!! We've been using it in our trips. It comes with the waterproof case that you can use it in the water.

Bought this GoPro for my trip to Hawaii and it was a great choice. It shoots excellent photos at 12mp and records super clear at 4K for super high resolution. It does lag a bit when it's connect to the TV, but it's tolerable.

Perfect for those shots I can’t get with a DSLR. It provides such a different variable into a film when used properly.

The camera works well. Responds to commands and auto up loads. The desk top software is complicated and non intuitive, and limiting. The smartphone software is somewhat better.

This camera went everywhere with me while traveling the world, from the Mountains of Seychelles to the deep blue Medeteranian sea.

GoPro are durable and they do exactly what you need them to do, record action videos. I love them.

Love that includes the lcd screen on the back now, definitely saves time instead of connecting through my phone to see what Im shooting

I've had a couple of these before! the GPS feature is amazing for tracking where you are/were when recorded. Love it.

Got this on sale and it has been a great addition for capturing pools days and vacation time regardless of the environment.

I bought this for a vacation that included a music festival and a cruise. Works great. Lots of options for resolution and frame rate.

By fast one of the best purchases I've ever made!! The quality of the video is great especially under water!! I love it!!
