In consideration that my most recent GoPro was a Hero 2, the Hero 5 is much nicer! The addition of a built in screen is especially nice. I'm not totally comfortable using it in inclement weather, without the additional waterproof housing as I've heard some complain that water still gets in, but the stability and video quality are quite a bit better than what I've been used to having. No mountain bike adventures yet, which will likely be it's main usage, but it has really rocked with the Karma Grip I was gifted for Christmas.

Good camera at daylight shots. Not so good at low light.

I had the original gopro with no screen so this one is a big step up. Great features and picture quality, easy to use.

Exceptional camera! Love it for the clear and extremely smooth slow motion and time lapse. Picture mode is also great, very comparable to the pics I took on the iPhone 7 Plus. However, vids or pics are Best in daylight. Night time vids get a little blurry and grainy. The antishake and audio are not so good, but, this is an action cam. I was going to buy the sony fdr-x3000, but decided on this as having the best value, and I am glad I did it. I also purchased the GoPro Karma Grip to help with the anti shake problem.

I bought this camera for my daughter to use with youtube. she loves it. it is easy for her to use and the videos are great.

It's a small camera you can take anywhere you go. It takes great pictures, you don't need a cover for it. Excelent choice to travel.

Voice command needs improved, if there is background sound sometimes the voice command will not work even if you yell, lol but awesome product!! We went snorkeling and the video picture was amazing, easy to use and loved it.

I bought this camera on a trip to Hawaii. I used it twice snorkeling and serveral times as a still camera and video. The pictures are great and the camera was easy to use. I have recommended several times to others.

I purchased this camera at Best Buy, while riding through S.Dakota. It fell off my motorcycle doing 60mph. I thought for sure it was a goner, but other than a few scratches it works fine. This is one tuff little camera.

Bought it for scuba diving and it works great! Quality pictures and videos while under water, stays on my gear well too.

The camera seemed easy to run! Like that it is small and water proof! We take it out on RZR . Haven't got to use it much , need to have more than one battery when your out running video. Lucky it comes with charger!.
