Picture quality was very good and it was very easy to use.

I purchased this GoPro as it has stabilization and records smooth video when mounted on my motorcycle. It captures great video and most of all operates with a single button press.

Battery life sucks!! The image quality is very good. If you can deal with a short battery life then this little GoPro will be worth it.

Excellent camera. This is my second GoPro and it is even better than the first. I really love the 4K quality. I am especially liking the voice activation feature on the new camera. Overall really love the camera and can't wait to take it on more adventures. Thanks again GoPro.

Small, but powerful. Battery doesn't last long enough

This is a great addition to the GoPro family of action cameras. I created a Hat Mount and use this camera. It's light weight and perfect for my hat cam videos. It uses all of the GoPro accessories which is good, because I have them all.

Very good quality & very low weight. Excellent app.

Got this for a trip to Iceland and it worked good. The only thing is in the cold the battery runs low faster but I think that would be with any battery. The other con would be the night video doesn't capture a lot . I don't know if that would be with any camera though .

When I first received the camera, it seemed like a great purchase. It could handle 1080p90fps, or 4k30fps, both of which look great! Unfortunately, 2 days after charging it for maybe the third time, the battery was completely depleted. No life at all. Charged it up that night, unplugged in the morning, checked on it the next night, and dead again. I have all of the connections turned off (WiFi, bluetooth, voice, etc.), so it should at least be able to last 1 night in standby mode. Provided you unplug the device right before use, you should be fine. My next issue is freezing. A couple of times, I'd press the record button for the Session 5 to turn on and start recording (as it should). All it does is turn on the red LED, and nothing. No recording, nothing on screen, dead. Tried the troubleshooting steps on GoPro's site, and nothing worked. I left it alone for a couple minutes, thinking maybe it'd sort itself out, maybe force reboot itself or something, NOPE. This device just felt burning hot, like about to burn me hot. Wayyy hotter than it should ever run. There is definitely something wrong with this Session. I've browsed the GoPro forums and discovered that I'm not the only one with these issues. There is one thread with about 12 pages' worth of people complaining about these two issues, and the only thing the mods are saying are to "try a compatible MicroSD card". I'm literally using the free MicroSD included when I purchased it at Best Buy (also on their compatibility list). This isn't worth it. Buy a Hero 5 Black or other camera, like a Xiaomi Yi. Avoid this Session at all costs. I will be returning mine this week and hoping to get it swapped with a regular Hero 5 (with the difference paid by me). Way to go GoPro. First the Karma recall, now this is messed up too. Try again next year.

Purchased this for my son for Christmas. I'll update when when it's actually used

Broke my hero 4 silver and decided to give the session 5 a shot. I really like the form factor and the fact that it now supports 1080@60fps superview. I have no complaints with the video quality, only downside is the mic. The audio isn't as good as the hero 4 silver.

It was a present, and the person love it, he uses for different type of sports.

Hats off to GoPro for this Session camera. Small footprint, easy to mount in tight places, and very durable. Mine hit the ground at 70mph and filmed the whole thing, with only some minor scratches on the case to show for it. Highly recommend!

I purchased the GoPro Session 5 on its release date and the images and sound have been noticeably been improved from the GoPro Session 4. The downside is that the battery life is a bit shorter than its previous model. I carry an external battery so I give four stars but for others it might not be so convenient.

The quallity of the video is awsome, you can see the details clearly in the short distance but also in the background. The way you can interact with the camera and your cell phone it's so nice since you can record from it and download your videos in seconds.

The only thing I wish it had was a removable battery. The battery only lasts a little over an hour and then takes a while to recharge. It does get hot in operation (normal). These points are well known. The audio is a lot better than older GoPro cameras, but I still consider it secondary.

Bought this camera and am using it for fpv quadcopter flying. Amazing quilty and it’s super durable, I purchased the Best Buy protection plan and I’m glad I did, I crashed and shattered the lens, Best Buy replaced the GoPro no questions asked

Purchase Go-Pro as my daughter Christmas gift. She loves to capture picture and videos. After completing my research I decided to purchase the Go-pro. By far we have used this device while mudding, riding my motorcycle, and sports games. It works great!
