I have been a GoPro user for a couple of years now and I previously owed the GoPro Hero 4. We have been soooo impressed with the updates to the new Hero 6. The internal stabilization is out of this world. We had to lug around a separate gimbal for stabilization on the Hero 4 but with the new Hero 6 its legit gimbal like. Another huge update is the automatic color adjustments the video makes to accommodate the lighting in all scenes which reduced the editing time dramatically. Definitely would recommend the GoPro, even though it is a little pricier its worth being able to catch high quality memories and it's awesome to share with friends and family. One downside is their editing platform QUIK, they used to have GoPro Studio which had way more options for editing than QUIK does. However it does make it easier for newbies to be able to upload and edit videos.

Photos so so. But videos really good quality. Especially for underwater videos.

It takes good pictures. But after I recorded 4K video it wasn't letting me view the video. I could hear the sound but not see the video image. Trying to figure out what the problem is.

A lot to learn about this camera. I've learned to shut off all Home's WiFi auto connect. So the auto connect will work with the GoPro to the cell phone. Does take good pictures. For a small compact camera. And I bought me, the Stainless ipoll. Extension stick. It's a nice, little compact telescoping pole, that can fit in your pocket fairly easy.

GoPro seemed like a camera for surfers and skiers and so on so I didn't look into it until a recent trip was planned to Europe. Friends said, "You have to get a GoPro! You can do so much with it." So I researched more deeply and was convinced it would be a good investment. I bought the Hero 6 and it is an investment for sure - not as expensive as a high end SLR but still...then the accessories add a lot. The pictogram instructions left a lot to be desired. I wonder if they tested them. There is an online manual which helped a lot. I almost destroyed the camera trying to get it out of the highly secure box. There were no instructions. It is kind of like a Rubik's cube - you either get it or you don't. Took some contemplation, but I realized you have to unscrew the securing screw. Next, how the heck do I access the battery and SD card slot. Again, not obvious how to get it out of the holder. Once I finally got it all together, I was very pleased with the amazingly clear photos and videos. I have not yet used all the features. Downloading to the GoPro app and Quik app is interesting - it loads all the pictures, even the bad ones. You can edit the list later. But the Quik app makes movies of the still photos with the worst ever music accompaniment. There is a way to change the music but I have not had time to do that yet. I'll review the accessories separately. I'm happy with the quality of the camera given the size. Way better than a iPhone. Not quite as easy as an SLR but so much smaller and with at least as good or better quality. If you can afford one, go for it.

240 fps works well outdoor, but it can be problematic indoor due to the lighting. In general, 240 fps shooting requires more light. The problem indoor is the flickering with fluorescent lights or even LED lights with dimmer. Can not really blame it to an action cam which is mean for outdoor use. If you buy this for indoor sport shooting, you need to be aware of the issues.

This is the best gopro so far i have ever used. The quality, the colors, and most importantly the stabilization is so much better than the hero 5. The hero 5 is not bad by any means and is still a good camera. But the 6 takes it one step further with its new processing chip. I highly recommend this camera.

I bought this camera to make vlogs. Super portable and the image is great.

For a while I wanted to buy a Gopro and I'm happy I decided to buy the New Gopro Hero 6. I love the picture and video quality. The best part is that is waterproof and that it has a screen so you are able to preview the videos and pictures and also since it's waterproof you don't have to buy a case for it.

Very easy to use and the photo quality is great. My wife and I loved using it snorkling and swimming in the sea.

It is a nice camera. It zooms a little but most footage is from a distance. You definitely need at least two batteries as the life isn’t that long. It is very portable and light.

I love this camera and the quality,. I recommend this for scuba diving.

Go pro has always proven its mark in the action camera world. Gopro hero 6 has all the features to propel your footage professional quality. A must to have in your camera bag.

Love the hero 6. Bought it to upgrade from hero 4 now I have both.

I LOVE IT. Used it for underwater pictures and videos and the quality is awesome. Colors are vivid. Battery life is short but I got an extra battery so I don’t run out. If u like taking pics of underwater life that’s a must. Regular pics are nice too but I have a canon for that.

Great camera to take anywhere, don't need to worry about being delicate with it. Price is the main concern, you may want to buy a less expensive camera for beginners.

I haven't really gone too deep into this camera. I used it in the pool with the kids and walking all over the place on a family vacation. This camera is great. Small enough to fit in my pocket but the pictures and videos are great. Looking forward to playing around with more features

It's a great camera. The footage captured by little action cams is among the best i can say. Overall i can say it's a very useful and great one, value fo rmoney..

Much better than my hero 3. Love that it zooms in. You don’t need a waterproof case. Great new look.
