I've used a lot of GoPros-- have purchased over a dozen. Mostly Hero4's. When the 5 came out with the new body/different batteries, I wasn't that impressed. Bought one but kept using my 4's for the most point. With the 6, it's the same exact body.battery as the 5, but has much better image stabilization and also new audio features like a wind filter that's pretty good. I've been worried about GoPro as a company, but this new 6 is solid.

I have owned several GoPro models for several years. This GoPro Black 6 is a huge jump in every aspect. Video quality, fps (frames per second), ability to shoot in low lighting, it already has a rear LCD screen which improves on battery life. The list goes on, I am a professional underwater photographer, My GoPro is always attached to my housing.

Bought the camera just for a vacation trip, after using it I found way more things to do with it.

I really like the voice control. And the video has very high quality. One battery is not enough, need extra batteries. Charing battery is not convenient.

The quality and the EIS is well worth the upgrade if you’re using this for action shots! If you’re just vlogging or using it in a stationary position with not too much movement, any other GoPro cams will work just fine. IF you’re thinking of buying your first GoPro. The 6 is definitely the one to buy! I do a lot of research prior to buying and this being my 1st GoPro, I’m glad I waited and bought this one!

Small and easy to take,but the battery cannot be used for much time, almost one hour.

This thing is so smooth and vibrant and has excellent night recording. I never even turn over the engine into this puppy is recording and 4K 60fps. I feel so much more confident sitting in traffic and making my daily commute with this beast recording the road. Liabilities reduced, and so much added confidence with this thing recording. Bought the suction cup mount and 3D printed a lens Hood.

I purchased this as a gift for my husband to use on his road trips on his motorcycle. He loves all the videos he has taken.
