Great camera for travel and extreme sports. For what it does you can’t beat a GoPro

Setup was easy. Am not using GoPro software to edit to stream to YouTube, so that adds extra steps. GoPro wants users to buy their software and do everything in their cloud, but I am working with the video files locally.

The camera maintains a sharp picture and very little shake regardless of speed.

Finally took the plunge and went from having the Hero 3 to the 6. I’m so glad I did, I’m really enjoying having a screen. It was becoming a hassle to be connecting to my phone to see what I was shooting. The design and construction of this new model is sturdy and sleek.

Love the quality of the video. Downside is its bulky. Needs a sleeker shape.

Bought the old go pro hated it because of no screen on back to show you exactly what your filming from a fixed position , took this camera on vacation with the head strap my kids loved it in the pool and ocean and with the go pro app made viewing and editing super easy

My 16 year old loved this when we bought it. Easy to use

GoPro has once again made a great camera for both amateur and professionals. I upgraded from GoPro Hero4 Black and cannot say enough how much better this camera is. The electronic stabilization is on point and the LCD screen is very useful. I highly recommend it.

I have only one negative for this camera, the same negative I have for each GoPro I have. I wish the front screen were brighter. it's hard to see and distinguish what I've selected. Having the same info on the screen in back helps make up for that.

Video stabilization and color tones are the best. I looked at videos of Hero 5 vs Hero 6 before taking the plunge on Hero 6. Have never used a action camera before and this is expensive but so far feel its worth the $ spent. The integration with GoPro app is good.

The video and picture are fantastic. My only issue with this camera is the design of the battery. They placed a very flimsy plastic to allow you to pull the battery out. I can see this breaking and not allowing the battery to be removed unless use pliers, destroying the battery in that effort.

We really love how easy it is to use. would recommend this to beginners.

I bought this for a trip to Iceland and it was better than I could have expected. The phone App is the perfect way to use it in the cold and the zoom and wide angle/linear angle fit 99% of our needs.
