This was a replacement camera for my son as a Christmas present. His was lost by a friend while rafting. I purchased the latest version and he was thrilled.

Bought it on sales so I wasn't the first round of buyers, I have the Hero5 and the 6 has some nice upgrades that are worth the extra bang for your buck.

It's awesome - I used it a few times in high performance driving school - it's amazing - stability control is great, and the voice commands enable you to focus on your activities, and not on the camera

I got this for wife for when we had our son and it great gift, she loved it. The only thing is it kept shutting off and freezing. She learning how to do it but we have to take it back and see if we can get another one. It really nice just have to know how to use it.

I am new to this technology but it is something that I believe will be useful and the portabilty is first rate. I think that the different mounts and applications for use are very appealing.

I traveled to Ecuador and was really impressed by the camera's performance in the mountains, at the beach and in the water. My 12 year old son had a great time filming everywhere we went.

This is by far the best that they have. I upgraded and man it is worth it. Pricey, but wait and they will go down sometimes upwards of $100.00.

Love it! The only issue is removing the battery... GoPro needs to fix the issue ASAP! Pulling out a battery using a little piece of film strip is not the best option! Come on... fix it!

If you have a GoPro Hero 4, keep using it and don't buy the 6 (or the 5). There are several issues with the Hero 5 & 6 which depend on your application. I use mine on motorcycles (on and off road) and have a microphone installed in my helmets. The touchscreen control system is awkward and susceptible to accidental touch. The microphone connection system was changed such that you now need a huge adapter with the 5 and 6; making use of an external microphone impractical. The video quality of each newer version is better but it's only worth upgrading if you need more pixels and a faster refresh rate.

Great action camera for use while on the go outdoors. Used it on my recent trip to Moab while offloading and it did an excellent job of recording our offloading adventures.

I cant say how good the product is because I am still learning how to sav the battery life. Just turning it on and off not even using it and the battery dies within 30 minutes. Needs better instructions

I use this device for video recording my cave diving adventures. I take it to extreme levels and it always handles flawlessly!

It needs several attempt to connect gopro to phone.

I'm glad I was able to upgrade. Not to many enhancements from the 5 to the 6 but best of all was that the gear that I had already purchased for my 5 was still compatible.

Been a supporter of GoPro for years. Absolutely love the latest model!! Couldnt see anyone having some bad to say other than it having too many awesome features to use hahah.

Never owned one prior but for good reason as all the previous versions just didn't offer what I thought would be worth while as I already had to get Contour and loved it.

First purchase i made was defective. It was keep getting frozen and not turn on time to time. Second is working fine. However it overly priced. I think there better options out there for much cheaper.

I bought my daughters a go pro years ago for Christmas because they love filming . My hubby wanted this new go pro so I got it for him and he absolutely loves it .

This thing is so cool. It’s so high quality that it has so many different functions. Use it on your vacation, use it for a video shoot, use it in your car. A lot of fun!

Noticed it would get hot and stop recording frequently. Thought it was ambient temp and/or hot sun through the windshield. I had a 256gb card in it (XC1- Class 3) rated for 4K vid. After a year of hit and miss recordings at lower resolutions (still crashing), GoPro comes out with recommended cards. Seems they downgraded recommendations to only a couple over 64gb and not near the card recommendations for GP 7, 5 among others. If you do long recordings out the windshield of your car, this is NOT the GoPro to get!
