dont like that you can’t playback 4K videos on the Go pro app. or even preview it. I wish I would’ve known that they had a new version coming out in 2weeks. So I paid full price for an older model. It’s better to buy online, you get better service if anything goes wrong and/or not satisfied with purchase.

This is my 2nd one after returning the first for same reason.

because I didn’t purchase it. Someone purchased this item on-line for store pick up in AZ (picked up by someone other than me, I live in VA) and Best Buy let them do it, didn’t raise any red flags. Almost a month later still waiting for BB to remove the charge from my BB credit card.

Better just get the gopro5, the camara that i got is defective

4K does not work with Apple or windows product, this product is not compatible very dissatisfied

I had the GoPro Hero 5 Sessions and it crapped the bed one me. As a Youtuber, I needed a GoPro again ASAP. Fortunately, the Hero 6 was just released. What an upgrade. Wow. Best action camera ever! Awesome slowmo footage, Quick Stories are very practical, does everything automatically. Works very well. Love the colors in photo/video and how quickly and smoothly Hero 6 adjusts to light. Awesome dynamic range and very good image stabilization. Pretty good audio, improved over previous version. Hero5 is good camera but Hero6 is way better in so many ways. Extremely happy with this product.

I highly recommend this for all outdoor activities. There are many uses and it is a lot of fun.

Heats up badly and doesn’t turn off or on in a single day of purchase so bad choice to buy

The gopro would over heat in my bag and freeze. It would get really got to the touch!

Stabilization is silky smooth. Picture/video quality and dynamic range is the best I’ve seen, period.

Returned and bought a 7. Doa right out of box. BB prob wont publish.

Camera froze every time I turned it on so not worth the money

After a horrible experience with my Hero 5 Black. Three replacements in less then two months and after awful customer service, I had decided I had enough of GoPro and was going to buy the Yi 4K+. However I decided to buy the Hero 6 Black and try to restore my faith with this camera and since I have 45 days to return it being an elite plus member I gave it a shot. To my dismay, When facing the sun I get this large thumb print size ghost dot (image). It's very annoying having to see this on my videos. Anyone else have this problem? I should have returned the Hero 5 when I had the chance. I will for sure with this one if I can't seem to find a remedy. Oh by the way when the protective lens cap is removed, they look fine but then without the cap the lens may get scratched. As to the stabilization, on the Hero 5 it totally sucked and it was basically non existent specially when walking. Looked like a 5 year old was holding the camera. On the Hero 6 they improved it. So instead of being all shaky there's a light wobble up and down but more acceptable. Because of that white ghost dot, I may have to return it though. Cant have this. Did I mention how horrible their support is? Hope you don't ever need to contact them. Never respond back to you. Their phone and chat is always busy. If you can get through and speak with someone and they tell you they'll contact you back they won't. Four times I had to contact them back because they never responded. Have the Hero6 with my Karma bundle, great camera, much improved over previous generations.

i had the GoPro hero 4 silver for about 2 years so i was investing of buying a new GoPro so i decided to buy the GoPro hero 6 black wow its awesome its flawless its a big upgrade from the gopro hero 4 silver its nice and the 4k video is very sharp nice and clean the the stabilization is flawless very nice GoPro hero thank god i upgraded from my GoPro hero 4 silver love it.

The camera itself is an absolute tank. Resolution is amazing, it’s very durable, and the stabilization is great. The battery life isn’t ideal, and the amount of time it takes to charge is pretty bad.. so buying an extra is a must. Luckily they’re very cheep. The last firmware update was incredibly buggy and unreliable, but the current 2.01 seems to be exactly what the camera needed. Everything is working as it should and I’m so much happier with it. Low light is MUCH improved as well, and there’s been no bugs that I’ve experienced so far. The firmware updates have definitely been the downfall of this camera in the past. Especially since it’s very difficult to track down the older firmware if you’re unhappy with the new one, so I’d suggest waiting to update and to do a fair amount of reading up on how it’s been for others before you do so. But like I said, this current firmware has been fantastic. I’m glad I waited it out for this update instead of returning it. The only reason Im not giving it 5 stars is because GoPro really gave us a lot of grief with the old firmware. The last one came out back in November 2017, and this new one finally came out Feb 27 2018. Aside from that, everything with it has been fantastic now.

Best Buy always stands behind the products that they carry, therefore, I always buy with confidence. The GoPro Hero 6 Black is just another step up from the Hero 5 Black that I previously owned. In terms of getting quality, I can always count on both Best Buy and GoPro in terms of their cameras.
