Great footage, not great in other areas
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I will start by saying the footage from the Hero7 Black is awesome. The Hypersmooth is as advertised. Now... if only I can get the camera to work without it freezing, overheating, or draining the battery. Those three issues happened repeatedly. Almost every time I'd go from viewing the media back to the camera, it froze to the point where I'd have to pop the battery out and restart. To say that was frustrating... an understatement. Hopefully these issues are remedied through a software update. It's too bad because it really is a nice camera... when it works.

Great for snorkeling

This was great for taking around the ship and snapping great photos. It was best for snorkeling in the Caribbean. I did have one issue, there were a few times when neither the touch screen or the buttons would function and I had to completely remove the battery to reset it. When doing that the video I was recording would be lost.
