I totally can recommend the GoPro Hero 7

The new GoPro is a great companion when you are outside. It works perfect and you can capture all moments. So far, I had no issues to report. All works fine from Setup to daily Operations. It connects easily with my iMac. Same for iPhone and iPad. I can recommend it.

Overheats

Bought them for the same purpose a few years apart. When trying to record high quality video it overheats quickly and cuts off after 40 to 90 seconds. Took it on vacation to FL to record the kids at some theme parks. Anything over 720p 30fps caused the camera to overheat and shut down. I could get about 90 seconds on 1080 and 40 seconds on 4k before it locked up or shut off. Very disappointed that gopro hasn't managed to get this under control yet. Having a camera that can record 4k but can't do more than 40 seconds in 90 degree environments is kinda sad.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The only reason I gave this camera a 4 out of 5 stars is due to the fact that this camera will sometimes "freeze" and require a restart to work. This caused some frustration when we were filming during our last vacation. The quality of the photo and video are excellent. We have also used it in the water and the videos turned out amazing. Overall, it's a great camera but don't expect perfection as it does have its quirks.
