This camera is great. I took it to one of my river runs so that I could videotape myself riding my jet ski. The recordings came out crystal clear the stabilizing feature is amazing. The sound recording was very clear. This camera was one of the best purchases I could have made.

I purchased this camera specifically to take pictures in our vacations. The first thing that I noticed was that the battery drains too fast. Second thing was the screen freezing to the point where I had to open the battery compartment, remove the battery for at least 15 seconds and put it back. Otherwise it would not work at all. During that time, the cammera would get very hot around the battery area. Third was the lack of instructions for the settings, use, etc. I returned it right away. I have to admit that it has a PERFECT resolution! If GoPro fix this issues I would definitely buy it again.

My first Go Pro. Pictures are clear. So small, it's difficult to keep your finger out of the picture when you press the tiny button. Thought it said you could get it to take pictures by voice but have yet to figure that out. Don't think it does. Bought a floatie for it but good luck being able to get your finger with fingernails in the hole to press the button...even without them I think it would be near impossible. And when you sign up for their Cloud, they automatically turn your Go Pro on intermittently and it drains your battery when you don't realize it & it's just sitting next to you at home. Battery dies even when you don't have it on. I had to remove it when I wasn't using it. Kind of disappointed. It's so tiny it's hard to use...and I have small hands. Also expected the battery to last longer. If you were on vacation, you'd have to recharge it 2x a day or more if you were really using it a lot. Am I missing something? Thought these were really amazing.

Bought this to document our family vacation adventures. From hiking to white water rafting to horseback riding it consistently provided smooth recording. It did get overheated a few times while recording 4K and shut itself off until it cooled down but performed well overall

For the price I think overall you will be satisfied I have upgraded from the hero 3+ and there is quite a bit of difference in a lot of features more so the ease of using it compared to the earlier models more user friendly.

I have this and the 9. I find myself using this mor often. It's smaller, works with more equipment (gimbal), and I'm sure it's just a mental thing, but feels more durable. The video is about as good as it gets with action cams.

I own a Hero 4 and wanted to capabilities of 4K recording and I must say that so far I have not been let down with the Hero 7. I is easy to use, but my do have 2 small concerns. 1. The unit appears to get hot at times. 2. The battery life is shorter then I expected. So far I have only been able to get an hour of recording as where the 4 would last at least twice as long. DA

I bought this Gopro mainly for the Smooth Stabilization feature and let me tell you it works great. I used it on hiking trip and video look great as if I was using a gimbal. I definitely recommend getting this Gopro 7 Black.

The HyperSmooth stabilization takes this action camera to a whole new level. Loving it. We also have the GO PRO 5 and have just kept both, as it is still a great camera, and added a remote to get different angles when out skiing or Mt Biking. The 7 is incredible and worth the price!

Brilliant color and excellent image stabilization I use the chest mount for bicycle and solid mounts for other vehicles. Video appears as if the vehicle is moving separate from the horizon. Horizon is steady. I have extra batteries as the battery life is not too great.

Love how small this action camera is! Perfect for my upcoming trip to the Philippines. This camera is so small with nice quality. I can still capture great photos and videos without sticking out like a sore thumb in public.

I was finally decided make the jump from Hero 5 to 7 Black. The difference is big. Image stabilization is a big bargain and it works great. Not a big fan of live streaming. Big plus, all accesories from Hero 5 fit the 7. Highly recommend this camera. Bit expensive but its worth it.

Works great. Easy to use especially with the accessories pack bought. This allows the camera to be used in multiple locations such as on the bicycle, a body cam, in the car or on the top of the head. A bit pricey but a good product

This is a great camera. I made a video and the sound quality and video quality are great. It was easy to learn the controls and the control from the phone function allows me to capture myself without another person to control it. It is worth the price.

I actually wanted to return this, but didn't think they would take it back. We spent too much money for this item not to meet the expectations. The pro is the videos and pictures are very clear. The cons are: it overheats when used for a long period of time, which is what I explained to the salesperson was my reasoning for getting it and to broadcast to YouTube; couldn't broadcast because you need a certain amount of followers; the battery dies quickly; my videos downloaded into the app on my computer aren't transferring to my app on my phone. Basically, all of the reasons I bought this one instead of the cheaper model or a dashcam as I was originally going there for, were not what I was made to believe. For the money, this camera should have a longer battery life and not overheat during prolonged use. Disappointing!!!

I never expected to replace my original GoPro, but am I ever glad I did. The resulting picture looks great on my tablet—my Jeep never looked better. I’m a techie, so there were no surprises or difficulties. Love the new features.

I had an early generation Go Pro and was not impressed. Used it a few times and then dropped it in a drawer. The interface was too difficult and confusing. This Hero 7 is ABSOLUTELY amazing. Super easy to use, incredible quality, super rugged. Couldn’t be happier.

High quality image, better quality under the water than Outside. The battery does not last long (about 1 hour of continuous recording). I bought two batteries to be able to change them when one runs out. I like it because it is very practical but it is a bit expensive in general.

I don’t think there is much to say bad about this camera. The worse thing would be the battery life. Get more batteries. The video quality on GoPros has always been top notch. But with the Hero 7 Black they have made the audio perfect. This does everything I need.

It’s my first GoPro and the quality is great! Reason I gave it four stars is due to the battery life. The battery drains quickly but I’ve heard gopro’s in general have crappy battery life. Overall, I’m having a great time using it!
