Great camera. Takes high quality videos/photos. Just used it skiing out west and photos are amazing. You definitely want to have an extra battery or two if you plan in filming with higher quality settings.

really worth the upgrade for the hypersmooth and quality. the hero 5 was my first gopro but this one is a lot better. with a gimble it's insanely smooth and I like doing videos in the water so it wins over the dji pocket for me.

This baby is so compact that it simply slides down your jean pocket. It has a wide angle, great video recording quality and picture quality. We purchased this to capture out little one's moves.

Originally bought this to capture our first sail and have not been disappointed. Battery life is way shorter than I expected but as I was told is normal and expected for go pros. Good quality for videos and photos. Wish more would come with the camera like a bundle instead of having to buy things separate.

I'm no expert on the camera game but the GoPro seems to function very well. It catches all the motions and movements that my phone camera would have some type of blur. Picks up sound well and easy to use as well as the app. Although there's some things ive yet learned about it I'm pretty happy with my purchase.

Bought this for my tripe to Maui where we had lots of water and hiking activities. The videos were excellent and there were almost no shaking/shocks in the video. It is also very easy to operate. I would recommend GoPro Hero7 to anyone.

Ive had a Hero 3 for a while and wanted another GoPro to take footage from a different vantage point while using the Hero 3. I really like the ability to control the camera from my iPhone and be able to review the footage. There are so many modes that i am still experimenting with. Amazing amount of capability in such a small package. I also like the fact that I do not have to put the unit in a waterproof case. I recommend removing the memory card and using the memory card reader to get the picts/vidoes off the camera. I had one instance where I connected to the computer and was loading videos. During the load it stopped working and I lost many good photos and videos - there were erased from the camera. I tried to use ibeesoft to recover the files and it did find many of them but they were locked and unreadable.

Got this for my beloved husband as a birthday gifted. He love it so much. Very easy to carry around and used it. Easy to connect to phone. Best quality when you take a group picture, couple, or just by yourself.

If you need a small camera for travel or for more professional means, this little thing will do. Easy to use, amazing footage quality, and the perfect upgrade from the Hero 5 that I once had. And the stabilization is truly fantastic.

I bought the GoPro Hero 7 Black for ONE main reason, and that is the image stabilization for roller coaster footage. Since I could not use a gimbal on the roller coaster with my GoPro Hero 6, my next best option was to pick up the HERO 7 with the improved internal image stabilization. Using the HERO 7 Black with a chest mount worked like a charm. Image quality got me as close to gimbal quality as I could have hoped for. I've also used it with the head strap and the image stability is noticeably better than the HERO 6 black. If you're in situations where you can't use a gimbal ( and there are a LOT of those situations), it's worth it to add the HERO 7 Black to your video arsenal. There are some good YouTube tutorials for making sure your settings are on point for shooting with max stabilization.

Ive had 3 other gopro heroes before this one and I have to say that there is a night and day difference in the quality, and stabilization. This is definitely a good buy, just make sure you pick up extra batteries(like you should for any gopro)

I love the go pro hero 7 black!! My last camera was a hero 4 silver, this is a major step up. The menus are so simple to navigate, and the video quality and image stabilization is awesome!!!

I got the Hero7 Black to replace my Sony AS15. For the longest time I avoided GoPro as the form, case, and quality was lacking when compared to previous Sony. I'm happy to say I believe the GoPro ecosystem to have vastly improved in all areas, except battery life. This is no surprise if you have any of the previous Hero 6,5,4,etc. So just get 3 extra batteries and you should be good there. What I love about the Hero7: 1)Improve Audio from the Hero6. The waterproofing that is done to the Heros line is a challenge for audio but the Hero7 is pretty good. Not as good as the Hero4 but let's face it I don't want to have to put my camera in a water proof case anymore. One less thing to carry. 2)The improved UI interface is much simpler to navigate and more intuitive to find things. Still could improve: 1)Battery Life 2)The stabilization. It's ok but doesn't replace a gimbal Other recommendations: The GoPro has so many different mounting attachments. The ones I love the most are: 1)Mouth mount 2)GoPro Hand and leg mount. 3)Personally I already have a DJI osmo mobile 2 so I bought mount for this too. However any gimbal should be good.

Overall the camera is a good quality camera. It does freeze from time to time if the camera overheats. It’s really small so it’s easy to carry and it has good video quality features that make this camera affordable and for good quality.

Great purchase! Love the features and accessories that go with it. Picture and video quality is great especially with a family that is active is sports and outdoor activities. Love that is us compact and easy to handle. Waterproof a plus!!!

I've had a few bugs in the operation of this camera. Videos are excellent. But sometimes it doesn't shut down correctly and continues to run and drain the battery completely. Occasionally I've had to remove the battery to clear the problem. Hopefully they'll come up with another software upgrade to fix the problems (already done one).

Things I like about my GoPro camera: It is compact enough to carry in front pocket. The videos and pictures are very clear. I like the steadyness when shooting video. I looked at the competition and found that GoPro fit my needs best.

I really like all of the features of the GoPro Hero 7! The app connects quickly to the camera and all video download speeds are quick, easy and amazing in quality. I do recommend buying an extra battery as it does run down pretty fast.

We bought this because we travel a lot. Survived beach use, a hike through a canyon in the rain, running through sprinklers with our kids, swimming and a bunch of snow. Great camera and the stabilization is incredible!

Took this to the Bahamas and it was the best decision ever. I got so many great pictures and videos from our trip. Even had it under water to film sting rays and sharks. I haven't had a GoPro since the hero 4. This one is great.
