For the price and advertised use for this, I’m very disappointed. We’ve lost so many footage and ended up using our iPhones because it keeps turning off even with slight amount of heat. Our iPhones withstood heat so much better than this.

Overheated quickly and battery died quickly as well. Not for livestreams to social media platforms such as Facebook or Instagram. Not what I expected, overpriced for the limited capabilities.

My first GoPro. The display seems easy to operate. I’m having issues.

It locks up, it starts shifting through settings like video to still to setup all by itself without touching anything. It does it almost every time its turned on and you have to remove the battery for a moment to get control of it again.

Dont spend the money for a gopro 7. The software is still bad. Too hard to transfer videos to another device like an ipad.

The door don’t close well and I’m afraid the water get inside

It is a good camera for what we need it for. It gets the job done.

We purchased the camera about a month ago to go on holidays with family. After the first day of use the camera kept feeezing all its functions and stoped operating. We went to a Best Buy shop and exchanged it for another one. Now, after two weeks of use, the new camera did the same. So frustrating!!! We are going back to Best Buy today again for another exchange! We are still on holidays and we are very disappointed as we would have liked to have recorded a number of sport activities we engaged ourselves in.

It was good thought the size of the screen makes it hard.

I received a camera that won't save preferences and cycles on and off whenever it feels like it. Unfortunately with working out of town, I missed the 15 day return item window. I'll buy GoPro or from BEST BUY again.

Very poor battery life, shutdown by itself whilst in use , can’t charge while in use and as far as I am concerned there’s no features. Not forgetting the nerve they have to sell this camera for 399. Unbelievable.

I bought this about a month ago because we are going to a trip. I just opened it to set it up for my trip next week and I can't get it to connect to the GoPro App on my phone. I've tried everything deleting the app and reinstalling, factory reset the camera, forgot my home WiFi so it won't interfere with the camera WiFi. I even called their customer service and the guy couldn't figure it out. At the end he just told me that the camera has a hard time connecting to pixel phones. I looked on YouTube to see if others pixel users are having issue and didn't find one video it seems to me that he just said that to try and get off the hook. To top it off I just seen the return period just ended yesterday I guess I'm SOL

I bought this a year ago and every time I used the camera overheated. I tried get help on the gopro website a while ago and they didn’t help me at all

just get the dji osmo, its way better. Gopro is nothing but troubles now. When it shoots it takes quality shots. But its annoying being underwater and it bugs out and throws "no sd" error EVERY TIME. Will be the last Gopro I ever buy.

First, the bad, then I will end with the good. I bought this to use primarily for snowboarding. When I heard it has live feed capability, I thought, how cool would that be to put a live feed of me shredding my snowboard for my friends on Facebook to see. Let me tell you, getting it setup was a BEAR! GoPro makes it easy to setup, but, if one thing goes wrong, the whole thing catastrophically breaks down. It took me a couple days of chat forums to figure out what others found works. Apparently, the live feed issue is a common issue. I figured it out but it involved me having to factory reset the GoPro a couple times as well as uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Now that it works, it works without problems. Just that initial setup was a beast. Not sure if this next issue is GoPro related or cellphone provider related. But as I mentioned, I use the live feed for snowboarding. Often times when signal might not be the strongest as it is dependent on using your phone as a hotspot. The live feed is more then not really choppy for my friends viewing it. Again, most likely just cell service issue and not so much GoPro. One final complaint, is the battery life. Maybe it’s becase I’m using it in cold conditions do to the outdoor winter activity, but it seems the battery doesn’t have the same life span as previous GoPros. Now, the good! The video quality is EXCELLENT! 4K at 60fps you cant go wrong. Also, the stabilization is superb! That hyper stabilization GoPro really nailed! All in all, it’s a great camera. Had it not been for the live feed issue, I would have given it 5 starts easily. I’m happy with it and will use it a ton!

This GoPro sucks. You’d think that as longs they’ve been making them they’d think to make the batteries last more then 30 mins. Waste of money

I set this up and try to connect it with my Android phone, but I had a lot of difficulty with it. I only gave it to attempts before I gave up. Was in the middle of packing everything up to head home. I'll try it again when things settle down.
