great improvement to the older GoPro I used, good picture but not as stable as I thought it would be when skiing. battery died after a half day and needed to be charged at lunch. the go pro still suffers from power loss at cold temperatures

Its a gopro. Does gopro things. Does what i need it to do. Plan to use it for multi-day hiking videos and offroading dashcam.

Less than impressed. Decent camera. Gets very warm if it runs continuous for more than 15 mins. Seems unsafe. To record in 4k you are lucky to get 15 mins before battery is dead. Regret.

Upgraded from a Hero 5 Black and love the upgraded feature. The stabilization feature is amazing. Picture quality is clear and crisp.

For ease of use plus quality video, i actually like the 7 Black OVER the 8 or 9. Priced RIGHT, you wont be disappointed.

The GoPro Hero 7 is awesome. Battery life sucks! And the camera itself gets really hot after using it for only like a minute. But the photos & videos are amazing. Have used for a couple of vacations so far, would recommend it!

We did a lot of research and shopping around. This purchase was so worth it! Perfect size for all sort of adventures. Picture quality and sound picked up great!

Love this camera and all its different functions. Perfect for capturing memories that you might not otherwise capture such as under water or walking through a theme park because you don't always want to pull out your phone and hold it while walking and they are not always waterproof. I have had tons of fun with the time lapse function and in the water! Love how smooth the video is.

The video is stellar on this camera. The image stabilization is almost scary good. For that, I can’t recommend this enough. The problem I had was that it sometimes wouldn’t power off completely, so I’d get it out of the bag to use and it would be very hot and with an almost dead battery. If you can sort that out and carry spare batteries, you’ll be thrilled with the video. I couldn’t, so I returned it. I’ll probably try a future version of the camera, though, since it was otherwise that good.

Great quality, as always from gopro. The new stabilization works great. I still have some shaking issues with my Hero 6 cameras, but none with the Hero 7.

What an upgrade from hero 3 white. 4K. HDR, and image stabilization. Love the screen also. Just with battery life was better shooting 4K.

Upgraded from the 6 to the 7 black, highly recommend. Worth the upgrade. Love the slo mo features and the stabilization, worlds different from the last version!

Great image quality with super smooth video. Much easier than taking a heavy DSLR everywhere. Would be better if the provided case allowed one to charge the device while mounted, as it dies after ~2hrs of time lapse while cycling.

Best money ever spent absolutely great quality videos. Amazing stabilization in the videos I use it for offroading and it makes my videos looks so smooth

As someone who loves stabilized footage, I was really happy with this new feature, and ease of use. Quality is amazing, and easy to take on the go and vacations

Still trying to learn with this camera but I love the motion stabilizers because I use it on the motorcycle the video and camera comes out great. Runs a little hot and sometimes will shut itself off.

Good product. Works very well in water. Very clear picture quality. You must download the files to a computer or tablet to really get the quality.

My son got this for Christmas and has been using it to take pictures and videos under water in our pool. It has great pictures and videos!
