Awesome camera. 4K video. Needs a little longer battery life.

Takes clear videos. Love that it is waterproof, so no need for a separate case. Excited to see what adventures I can document!

Great upgrade over previous models: Easy and fast pairing, updating and downloading media via WiFi. -Amazing stabilization (try to imagine your arm as a gimbal, if you move, do it slowly and gently even if the movement will be longer) -Many modes and options, you can be very creative with the editing after filming. -Bad at lowlight, clearly the camera is made for daylight action, expecting the camera to be the pinnacle of perfection in every category is exactly the reason you cant find a partner (think about that)

Short and sweet, easy to use , easy to navigate through the settings. Very compact, waterproof and live stream feature that works very good.

Image stabilization has gotten much better in the video quality is extremely good. However it did freeze up a couple of times while snorkeling and the only way to fix it was to pull out the battery…

I've had the whole line of GoPro models along their long progression line of action camera products. I keep going back to them for the updates because they pioneered the action camera market and all the accessories that is needed to comfortably and competently use their cameras. This is the first action camera I'm going to try and mount on my motorcycle, vibration and wind noise has always been an issue but I'm looking forward to great footage from this latest iteration of the GoPro line of cameras.

Great video camera and camera very easy to use. Kinda on expensive side considering you don’t get any attachments or memory card.

Simplest controls for fast use. I bought this to use with a phone skope adapter to use on my rifle scope so I can get 4K footage. I now use this get time lapse videos, three clicks and it's done. Make sure you download the footage from your GP to get the videos in MP4 format, if you just download them from the memory card they'll be in H.264 format, which will require you to use some kind of editing software to view.

It is easy to use as well as the quality is high. The integration between mobile device and the camera works great.

I purchased this GoPro for SCUBA diving. I also purchased the SuperSuit (separate review). Together they worked well. I did not have time between receiving the camera to practice recording except for one time and I thought I knew my way around the menu. but on an actual dive, the battery ran out very quickly. When reviewing video, I saw that I had been recording at various times when I did not want to record. The quality was OK but not good because I forgot to also purchase a red filter system. The camera does not take good video underwater without one. It is a pricey camera but so far seems to work as advertised. There are alternatives to both the GoPro and the SuperSuit.

bought this camera for a trip to the caribbean, beautiful pictures and videos underwater and in general. Battery life sucks though.

The video quality is unmatched, however the software is glitchy at times. Being that it’s new, I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt, and assume any bugs will be worked out in future software updates.

The videos, photos, stabilization, etc are great. the battery sucks. Note to first time users: remove the SD card when charging. It'll never reach a full charge with the SD card inserted.

I have been a huge fan of GoPro for years. I decided to upgrade to this model because it had digital stabilization that my old one did not have. Simply put, it definitely made a huge difference in the quality of videos, all but eliminating the Blair Witch effect of excessive camera shake. Plus, GoPro has a huge selection of peripherals to customize your experience. For an action camera, GoPro cannot be beat. Each iteration gets better and better.
