I would have given it a 5 star except the price is just way too high. The hypersmooth function is very cool and really stabilizes the video very well.

This is the GoPro camera to have. The time warp makes for some great video especially if you can just set it down and let it run. Very stable video footage without a gimble. Yes you've probably heard all this before..... Would have given it 5 stars but every once and a while it will lock up while going thru menus or maybe pushing to many buttons to fast. Pull battery and works fine again. Never had a problem while filming only while messing with it.

Love the video quality, but the GoPro needs Sound muting feature that can be easily turned On or Off at your discretion. Also noticed that the camera inconsistently freezes and requires a Shut Down and Power back Up to regain video control at times. I alternate the use of 2 batteries and have also found that sometimes the battery connection to the camera isn't quite right and requires you to pop it out, reinstall and then turn back on. Find that frustrating. I've never gotten the YouTube Live Streaming feature to work - ever!

Just wow! A deal if I ever made one---CRYSTAL CLEAR audio and video and can take its share of abuse. I use mine for biking and for watersports. App is great to have although editing a video is better on using other software. Other GoPro alternatives aren't as feature rich and lack image stabilization---you get what you pay for. GoPro is the real deal.

The camera is what you would expect from GoPro. Quality is Great. Video stabilization also great. portrait mode a nice touch. There are 2 MAJOR flaws: 1. Battery Life is HORRIBLE. You can actually see it draining just setting up menu items! And NO... It has the latest firmware... So that is NOT AN EXCUSE... 2. HEVC - This is a real problem. Video editing software from just a couple of years ago have a problem with this format. This is a disaster.

I use this for filming rides on an ATV with the Go Pro attached to the front of the helmet. The quality of the rides has absolutely blown me away. I've never owned a GoPro before, or any action camera for that matter so I'm jumping into this a lot later than most. But I can't say enough good things about not only the video quality but also the audio quality an how it can pick up my voice while riding.

I purchased this as a birthday gift for my 14 year old grandson. He is into BMX and mountain biking and several other fast paced activities which he is now capturing with his GoPro. I plan to encourage him to bring the camera with him when we duck and turkey hunt so we can document any of those successes. I think he is going to use this gift for a long time.

Clear images and sound even under water. Battery life not so good is only negative.

We picked this us to be our second camera when out on adventures. This camera does everything that it is expected to do. Great quality shots and smooth video recording. We choose this over the other Hero7 models due to the video stabilization, rechargeable batteries and the ability to remove the lense cover. These were factors that we wanted to keep since we already have the Hero6 with the same features.

This has good quality video. Easy set up as well as uploading to the iPad.
