I took this camera to Japan and I managed to fill out a 128 GB memory card in no time. It’s so convenient and so portable that I took it with me on every outing. I can’t wait to start editing all of the video footage. The hyper smooth technology is simply amazing. Thanks to this GoPro I was able to capture The moment I proposed to my girlfriend perfectly.

This is my third generation GoPro. Each one gets better. I have used mine mostly for taking photos. This one takes great photos, not only close-up (as was true of the previous generations) but also at a distance. Very versatile. It does great with filming too, of course.

The image stabilization is a great addition to the Hero series. Does much better quality recording outdoor...but it is an action camera after all. New menu on touch screen is different than hero 5 that I am used to but navigation is still simple. As always, great compact size is great for travel. Battery that fits my hero 5 can still be used in the hero 7.

I got this camera last year in preparation of using it in time for my honeymoon that was planned on Hawaii. It was recommended to get an action camera for snorkeling, parasailing, out any other thing my wife and I decided to do. I knew this was an older model since the Hero 8 was out, but it suited my needs well and performed amazingly! This little camera helped capture moments that I would have otherwise missed because of the various accessories available to it. Those mounting accessories are where you really get the most bang for your buck with your camera because they allow you to put the camera in different spots where you can forget about it and live in the moment. That's what I think the goal of this action camera is. It's to be small enough, perform well enough, and be out of the way in order for the user to experience the wonderful things life has to offer. The Hero 7 Black performed perfectly with no issues. Once I dialed in my settings it just worked everytime I wanted it to.

I bought this for a trip to Thailand that included snorkeling and you want those underwater pictures! The Hero 7 did the job superbly! Every image is just stunning— it’s HD image capture! Get the accessories in order to fully realize the high value that the Hero 7 brings to your active lifestyle. The image stabilization is amazing, too.

This is the first time I have ever purchased anything like this. I recently took a vacation to Hawaii and wanted to be able to use this on hikes, ATV and snorkeling. I was so impressed with the video quality and the voice commands! Hands free? Yes please! A MUST BUY if your doing outdoor activities. Compact, easy to use and good battery life.

I almost went for the GoPro that was a step down from this one, but I'm so glad I went for the Black GoPro Hero 7. The stabilization feature makes your videos look SO smooth, especially if you are ever going to film in a moving vehicle, roller coaster, swimming, anything that will involve motion. You won't be disappointed with this purchase!

The GoPro people excelled in this version. Its stabilization is amazing and the item is well built. The only problem I've found it when using an external mic and an external power supply you have to plug both in after you start the movie or it lags. Otherwise this is a superb camera - I bought two of them! One for vlogging and one for action sports.
