My wife uses it to video while on the back seat of my Ural Motorcycle with our dog Niner, in the sidecar. we just moved to Anthem, Az. and once we are settled looking forward to taking it on rides off road.

But the 7 is still my beast. Use it a few times a week and the only issue I have had but not really an issue just be prepared is battery life. I burn through batteries pretty quick while recording in 1080p so have a few extras with you.

I really liked the device easy to set up easy to understand how it operates however when I got in the ocean it kept freezing and I had to completely restart the device. Also Im pretty sure water got in the camera itself I wasnt sure how to get it out and I didnt want it to mess up the Go Pro so I let it air dry for 24hours. Other then that it did everything else it said it would and I enjoy it.

Fantastic camera!

Whether it was snorkeling in Bonaire or taking an aqua-boat ride in Curaçao, this camera performed better than anticipated! The video is very clear and the images are very stable especially compared to the bumpy ocean ride on the aqua-boat. I am highly pleased wth this purchase.

We did time lapse and regular videos. We used it to capture quick photos when we didn’t want to get the dslr out. I love the swipe touchscreen to change the modes. The battery life is ok (not that any GoPro battery is great). I would recommend this GoPro

I used to use gimbals for video, but the stabilization on these are so good, you will not need one. Photo mode is good, not a lot of distortion. It is able to shoot RAW files. The menus also have been simplified further.
