Wanted one for a while. Finally got one in preparation for a kayaking trip. Worked great. Loved the integration with the mobile phone. Used for pictures as well as video. Worth getting the 7 over down grading to the 5 or 6. Technology much better in the 7 and worth the increment when making a first buy.

What a great product refresh. I had the chance to upgrade from my GoPro Hero 4 up to 7, and just wow. The HD quality of the video, the built-in stability feature, and just retaining the sized form factor is impressive. A bunch of features packed into the same footprint.

Very cool camera and awesome features. I like the hyperlapse mode and stabilizers make it feel like you're living in the videos. Might be just mine but i've been having issues with it freezing, glitchy display and refusing to turn off. I've needed to take the battery out several times for it to reset. I just purchased it so maybe I just need to get to know it better.

Don't let the small size fool you, it boasts great specs! Very handy for quick snapshots of vacation spots and you could get creative with it too, depending on your familiarity with cameras. The gimbal-like stabilizer for hypersmooth videos was worth every dollar. I've never been a gopro fan before but the Hero7 Black convinced me.

I loved this camera so much that when I realized this was an older model, Best Buy let me do return exchange, The price is more affordable and will definitely do the same as the 9. It comes with a good case. Some thing to consider is with the nine you have to spend more for added accessories,

Very easy to handle and set up. Pictures are great quality.

I love the built in stabilizer and the fact that it is in the limited edition color white makes it that much better! I was able to attach it to a head band onto my 10 month old walking in his walker and get a clear video from his point of view thanks to the stabilizer. Great camera for vacations, off-roading, and everything in between.

Easy to use, great videos, easy uploading, easy editing

Took it to Belize for my honey moon. Amazing videos while snorkeling with sea turtles and sharks! Took it to the rainforest and got amazing photos. Even took it into a cave to go cave tubing. I also strapped it to my dogs back and let him run around for my wedding. So cute to see our friends and family all happy to greet him!
