purchased for husband to use while hunting - camera doesn't hold a charge for long and gets hot.

Love this camera. Excellent quality and user friendly.

I've had almost every GoPro from the fist through this one and besides the Session 5 this is my favorite. The Hypersmooth is amazing and really makes the video come out good. The HDR stills make the quality of still pics much better than it's been before. The only downside to it is the battery life, make sure and extras.

Get extra batteries. 5 stars if battery life was better. Love it overall. Great picture quality.

I purchased with the need for stability without a large gamble. This has both stand alone stability for recording and the add on of the gopro gamble will make it so much smoother for transition and panning video. Easy to use, cost seems fair, but accessories can add $$$. All in all after a few short weeks, I'm hooked.

Sold my hero black 3 for this unbelievable camera. Super clear touch screen, and the built in gimbal produces incredible steady videos, even when you hold the camera by itself without a selfie stick. You can shot in Avery aspect from 720 to 4K. It even has a 2.7k if you find it hard to download your 4K shots.

I've had older Go Pro Cameras and this one is a HUGE Upgrade. I've taken it many times snorkeling and diving and the picture and video quality is truly stunning I've showed friends and family some of our footage and they are blown away at how great video looks underwater!

I have added an additional Hero 7 to my camera collection because I loved the 1st one so much. A highly capable camera that can get very far if you choose to use it for that. Very good quality image stabilization and high quality images/video. The audio is decent if you protect it from the wind.

GoPro - HERO7 Black HD Waterproof Action Camera - black is awesome. Video is vivid and crisp. Has a removable battery. Best part is it has a ZOOM (for some of the settings). I do miss the "Narrow" field of view, but the ZOOM feature should suffice. Unfortunately, it requires a different battery than older models.

I got this GoPro coming from the session (the old GoPro with no screen) so this thing is a huge upgrade. I love every bit of it. Touch screen, lots of options for settings, quality is great. I love using this action camera. Family trips=GoPro time. Our son loves using it too in the pool.

Solid feel, extremely good color. Not really a need to color correct in post. Cost: Consider what the original GoPro cost and compare those features against the current (7) features. More features, less cost. Even my $2,000 DSLR can't produce (out of the camera) a quality image as good at this GoPro Hero 7 produces.

Time to upgrade my Hero7. Wow, what a difference this is. The quality is outstanding. The 4K underwater is sooo much better that I am planning a trip to go diving again, can't wait to use it. Currently using it for my YouTube channel, again, the 4K is a massive improvement and the iPhone controls are also less cumbersome that the old remote controls. Well worth the investment.

I waffled on whether to buy this camera or not and I can say it was well worth it. Shoots excellent video and photos. I was nervous about taking it under water but in two weeks I've gone water tubing, water skiing, body boarding and general underwater swimming with it and it's worked without a Hiccup.

My son shoots a lot of action video (skateboarding, motorcycle riding, etc.). He has absolutely loved this camera. In fact, although he's since bought a larger, more robust camera, this is still his go-to. The size, performance, and value are unrivaled.

Purchased this camera to use to document my grandsons sports activities. Especially water sports as he loves to swim, bogie board and wants to learn to surf. Impressive activities for a 7 year old. So far it has exceeded my expectations. Very easy to learn to use and to capture still, video and time lapse images.

This go pro has a great stabilization. I’ve used it to go off roading and compared to the pro 5 it is way better. I’ve also used it for the karma and the 4k resolution impresses so much I had to upgrade my laptop to keep up with this little device. I carry it with me where ever I go.

I think I'm going to like it once I get it all figured out. Mainly editing software and settings for best resolution on playback. What I'm not wild about is the GoPro Plus account where it's supposed to automatically download videos to the cloud. The GoPro editing software isn't my favorite either and rendering files takes an eternity. It's 2019, you can't tell me technology isn't any better than that at this point.
