if you can afford it, i would suggest buying the 4k version. the higher quality video on 4k gives a much better experience. if you decide not to get the more expensive 4k version, you would still not be disappointed by this camera!!!!!

This is my first go pro and I’m pretty happy with it. My wife and I recently had a baby and wanted a device to record videos. This does the trick and the app works well. The only down side is the battery life. It is brutal. Make sure you buy at least 2 extra batteries and the dual charger is really useful as well.

Tends to overheat and shut down otherwise a good camera

The quality of the camera is remarkable. I use to record my daughters softball games. I have had it directly twice by softballs and it still works great. This was an upgrade for my hero 5.

Great device!!! I bought this for my boyfriend for his birthday. He is an avid fisherman & kayaker. He absolutely loves being able to catch & playback all of the different adventures he goes on! It’s wonderful!

It take awsome videos and the stabilizer feature is really good

This is the best action camera I've ever tried. The quality is awesome but what makes me crazy is the video stabilization. It is insane, I tried a few cameras but always have to be careful with shaking too much. With hero 7, I have a way better stabilization

What can i say, this is a gopro! Fantastic video camera! Kids use it for their outdoor adventures (we live in an RV). Had held up well with a 5 year old and 7 year old using it. Great video and sounds. Making memories!

1st thing I shot with my new GoPro 7 Black was a sunset in Scottdale over a lake. when I saw the footage on my 4K monitor, I swear I could dip my finger in the water! Best footage I have taken yet.

We purchased this for trips and vacations. This is amazing! We love the timelapse feature. The video and picture quality is really good. The touch screen is a little weird and takes time to get used to it. Can wait to use it underwater and stuff.

Used this for snowmobiling, recording my daughter snowmobiling, and riding side by sides so far. Works good except for the batteries don't seem to like the cold. My batteries die very quickly while snowmobiling. I'm not talking super cold days either. So it isn't the greatest for that, which sucks since it's supposed to be an action camera.

I bought this camera to replace a Hero 3 Black. Love all the added features that this camera has. The biggest feature for me was the video stabilization. this is a big plus no need for an expensive gimbal. Also takes great pictures.

What can be said at this point about sports/motion cameras? GoPro is the one to buy. Make sure to purchase a high performance SD card and between the reward zone points that you earn from Best Buy, double-dip with a cash back credit card.

I use this go pro weekly. I love it. No complaints Black is the way to go. I owned a silver before this. It’s worth the little extra to upgrade. I got a great deal only paid extra $30 for the difference in silver - black

The picture is better and very stable compared to the Hero5. I am looking forward to attached the Hero7 to my GoPro Karma. Interface is different but not difficult to master. Works with the first generation smart remote too!

The hero 7 Black is a fun camera to use packed full of so many awesome features. I’m still finding great ways to use it. And the stabilization is so amazing, that even when it’s attached to the handlebar is my Harley, the image is smooth as silk.

I purchased a couple of these for my kids and they seem to love them. We also got them several accessories, including gimbles. They are of a much higher quality than some of the ones we previously purchased for them.

I bought this as a gift for my daughter. It is an upgrade from her original one I bought 4 years ago when she went to the Galapogos Islands, great photos and videos. This time she is off to Bali and the photos are amazing! Full review when she gets back!

I was using my GoPro 5 but decided to go up to the 7 since it was on sale. Live streaming is a good feature on this. Video quality is excellent. I still have problems with the controls though but it's probably just me.

I’ve taken this camera on multiple vacations now. Overall it produces great quality pictures and video. But if you run it too long it starts to over heat. If you’re an average adventurer this camera is great. But if you’re looking to film long periods, I’d look elsewhere.
