I bought this as an easy-to-use, quick access camera for all occasions, and it performs as well as promised. The setup is easy, the features and simple to understand and using it is as easy as you could hope for. This camera can do it all.

The device performs as described, it's a bit of a shame that the older models were able to run longer on a single battery charge than the currently available models though. If it weren't for the battery life, which I knew going in but lost my previous camera, it would be a 5 start contender.

I recently upgrade my action camera to a Gopro and the quality is night and day. This action camera surpasses every thing that my other camera had and it was at the time their most advanced and highest camera.

Great product. Solid built to last a long time. Recommend you buy a few batteries if your going to use 4K and don’t have access to charging station

This is my first Go Pro, I purchased the white black version and it is awesome. I purchased a few things to go with it and can't wait to test it under water! Definitely an all around great camera for hiking and outdoors activities.

Wi-Fi reliability on GoPro's has always been crappy. This camera carries on that tradition perfectly. It's total crap. GoPro continues to break privacy a little more with each camera, this time it's cloud issues. Just SELL ME A CAMERA. I don't want the other stuff. WHY would GP put the card under the battery door? Why is there even an HDMI door? WHY does GP refuse to listen to customers? WHY does the thing weigh like 10 pounds? WHY is the lens now non replaceable and makes filters hard to use? The stabilization is good. But unless you put HDMI back on the GoPro 8's, you'll never sell me one. I had to buy a 7. Is GoPro aware that people use these things LIVE? Other than that, a decent camera, for $250 when I got mine. I would NEVER buy an 8 though. I love the 4's, personally. Cheap, reliable, simple. WAY better.

The Hero7 Black is the top in the Her07 serious for it's Hypersmooth Video Stabilization available even at 4k/60p! Toss your gimbal in the recycle bin! It also takes surprisingly great still photos and the time lapses are breath taking!

I got this for my birthday and have been out of town so much I haven't even opened it yet, but I hear it's one of the best and can't wait to try it out. Love everything outdoors, rafting, kayaking, ziplining, hiking, camp etc

This camera is not the latest model, but it’s a great camera for beginners, and it costs a lot less than the 8 Pro. It’s not a good camera for Extended periods or recording in your car; the heat can get the beat of it. A little small for my hands, and it gets tricky to navigate the menus.

First go pro for me and I gotta say, I love this thing! Finally having something thats waterproof and won't be totally destroyed if I drop it is great for me. I do a lot of kayaking and other outdoor activities and this camera will be with me on all of them from now on!

We recently took the Go pro to Belize. What amazing photos and videos we came home with. The underwater videos were so clear and sharp. Stability on this device makes ever video and photo perfect. I highly recommened this device.

This is my first GoPro. Heard amazing things about them but compared to my other cameras these are terrible picture quality. The stabilization is amazing most of the time. For what it does and it's purpose, I can't complain too much. Just don't expect this to be your main camera for vlogging or something you'd get hired out for.

Worked great first couple of times then screen was destroyed. Felt this might be a manufacturer problem. When it was purchased it was the best one available. I stated what I would be using it for and told it would be great! You don't buy a go pro to film butterflies flying. I purchased this to film Sprint car racing!

From my experience, this so far has been the best action camera that I've owned. The image and video quality is amazing and it does not disappoint all the time. The stabilization take the video quality to another level.

I had a hero 3, and that was great at the time it was new. But the touch screen, functions, and waterproof body are superior to the 3. Just buy it! You will not regret it!

I have used this on hikes, treks, on roller coasters. The new hypersmooth video stabilization is insane. Being able to capture 1080p video at 240 fps is great and leads to extreme slow motion shots. Can't recommend it enough

I use it to record church services that I post on YouTube and it works well, even the sound is fine. Some other owners complain about sound quality, but for my purposes, it is good. One thing that is a ripoff is that if you want to connect an external microphone, it requires a special adapter that costs $49.99, if you can find one. They are always on backorder. I have some issues with remote control through the smart phone app, but as long as your phone doesn't go into sleep mode or bluetooth doesn't disconnect it's ok. Otherwise, I like it. No worries about jiggling video and everything is highly adjustable.

This is my second go pro , I had go pro 4 and it was nothing like this one the 4K 60 FPS is amazing .Over all I love this GoPro the picture quality is actually really good 12 mp good enough to leave my cellphone behind when hiking .

Love this thing. Mounted it to the car for an epic roadtrip. Can't say enough about GoPro and the quality. Fell off my car going up a mountain. Didn't even stop recording. As good as it gets!

What you’d expect with the GoPro brand. I’ve had several of the previous versions and this one was great. If used this all over the world and it’s just easy to use and I enjoy having the videos.
