The only reason I bought a Go Pro was for a trip to Cancun. I was never really a camera guy but looking back at the video AND pictures take on my Go Pro Hero 7, it was wonderful to see how great the memories were captured.

I use this camera to and from work. while driving a car, bike, scooter or skateboard. I recently had a hit and run on my bike and was able to get footage. Thankfully GoPro 7 I bought just on time.

I bought this to capture video while riding my motorcycle and offroading in my Jeep. The video quality is great and I love the image stabilization.

Bought it for my vacation trips. I've gone to Mexico twice so far and took it snorkeling and it's a blast tinkering with it trying to find new shots. Photo and video quality is top notch as well. Highly recommend.

This Go Pro is great for those who want to record and take photos because you can do both without a hassle. The touch screen features and playback on the device is convienent. The quality of the video/photo are great. It’s worth it.

Nice product! Didn’t get to use it because I bout it for my husband for his birthday and he wanted to return it. The only reason was because he didn’t think we would use it enough’

Pros: when the camera worked, it took great video. was clear and fairly well stabilized. Con: it froze several times and once while i was snorkeling so i couldn't video/take pics. Overall good product except when it froze. not sure if that is common for this camera or not.

I love the Hero 6-7 you can still use them with karma stick and karma drone. Point of view still does a great job don’t think the 8 upgrade it’s worth it

I purchased the GoPro hero 7 cause I was going on vacation and wanted an action camera. I must say over all satisfied with the videos I made. I still need more time to play with this new toy of mine, But I must say it is the best.

The Hero 7 Black meets and exceeds all expectations. I have used it on vacation, including handing it off to my 10 year old Granddaughter at a waterpark, and it takes marvelous still and movie shots.

The stabilization is so good. I am a photographer and I throw this thing in a hot shoe mount atop my dslr and film bts video of my shoots. Its so smooth and captures sound much better than previous versions. Love it.

I purchased the Hero 7 Black for my fpv drone and the video recorded at 2.7k 60 fps is the best video I've ever been able to get from a camera mounted on my drone. It's simply amazing stabalized video.

I had a crappy Akaso camera from Amazon mounted on my motorcycle handlebars and the video was always very shaky even though it claimed to have image stabilization. I finally bought this Hero 7 and the video is smooooth.

We used the GoPro Hero 7 Black for Snorkeling. It was excellent for video recording. The picture quality is also decent. It is not as good as underwater camera, but it is not a camera anyway.

Great little camera and it does work with the karma grip. Can be stable enough without karma grip but better when using it. I walk and hike holding the camera. Don't use Protune color - use flat color setting then improve it in post ---Protune color over does the color. Not as good stabilization as the GoPro 8 UNLESS you are using the karma grip (with 5, 6 or 7) which 8 (i think?) doesn't fit the karma grip. If you own a GoPro5, 6 or 7 AND own a karma grip - no need to buy the 8. If you film vertical video though, you need the 7 or the 8. My take: wait for the 9 or 10. GoPro undoubtedly has them in some backroom and are waiting for the market to be flooded with 7, 8 etc...(This is something we all know high-tech companies secretly do already).

Our first GoPro product and I'm very happy I got it. The stabilization is very good. We took it to our dog sledding and the video was great. The quality was so good that I was able to pause the video and screenshot for pictures.

This was a great camera when I had it. I upgraded to the Hero 8 and that's also a great camera. Hero 7 could be a great low cost option for someone starting out though.

The camera is flawless when it comes to 1080p @240. The 2k and 4k do not make a big jump unless it it being viewed on a big screen tv. Overall it is a good GoPro and I would like to see a better playback app being used with all models.
