Bought this for my son (17), and he loves it. This is his first GoPro. He uses it for his favorite sports, and for his videos and website. He loves its functionality and the fact that it is small and lightweight. The quality of the videos is outstanding.

Shoots amazing video. one thing i would recommend is getting an extra battery or two to help with the experience and a big enough storage card for hours of recording (which you will use because this thing is awesome) connects to phone to transfer videos easily with app.

We've enjoyed the GoPro HERO7. Were using it right out of the box for video and photos. Love the ease of transfer from camera to GoPro app. Battery runs hot and fast, so get a backup battery to make sure you don't miss the action!

I was surprised by the quality of the videos even underwater worked perfectly and with a clear picture, only thing I didn’t like was the battery drains very quick

I am a bike rider and outdoors guy. Also a little cheap on purchasing electronics so I got different brands before getting to the go pro camera. The fit and finish is superb, the image quality is the best. Unfortunately the battery does not last as long as expected and for my personal use ( normal person not you tuber) could live with other less expensive brands.

I love this camera! I upgraded finally from my hero 5 and I’m so glad I did. Video quality is amazing, voice control is convenient and works well, it’s waterproof (up to 33ft), and the improvements to everything else really show

This camera has been excellent so far. Thus far I have taken it snowmobiling where the temperature got to -15 F and the battery did decrease a lot initially, but then when I warmed it up the battery went back up and took excellent video. The directions provided with the camera are awful so I strongly recommend going to YouTube for proper techniques for best results with the camera.

I’m so amazed with the footage of this go pro could produce, i have go pro 4 black edition and 5, and by far this is the best one, with the built in stabilization, you don’t even need crane or any other extra tools to make smooth footage,

I'm impressed with how easy it is to use the camera and access the menus. I'm still learning how to best shoot my videos in all the different settings. I'm very much a beginner but I'm liking it so far. I will say that the battery life is terrible. I get about 20 minutes on a fully charged battery.

Great Camera. GoPro is easy to use. I would highly recommend for all family adventures- not just for extreme sport users. Love our cool family videos. We take 3 different GoPros on every trip. We call this one old reliable. The 7 is a great model.

The Go Pro Hero 7 Black is a fun little camera. It is very portable and has a high quality build. Now, I have never owned any previous generation Go Pro cameras, however I have had some opportunity to play around with a few. From what I can tell, the Go Pro Hero 7 Black has shown a lot of improvements over the older generations. Maybe not a huge change between generation 6 and 7, but just to kick things off, a legitimate waterproof design of up to 10 meters without a waterproof casing is nice. This eliminates the extra bulk when you really don't need it. I took this thing to Wisconsin Dells and was absolutely amazed by the underwater video quality. No issues with fogging. The Voice command is really cool and is really practical for an action camera. Especially since it will be potentially mounted on a helmet, being able to say "Go Pro, take a photo" or "Go Pro, take a video" is really convenient. I tested the voice commands and the response seems really good. Just need to make sure you are using the exact verbiage from the command list. The only potential flaw in the voice command is that unless you are facing the camera, there is no feedback that your voice command actually initiated anything. So if you have the camera mounted on a helmet, you won't really know with 100% certainty that the camera is taking video or took a picture. But at least the functionality is there. The camera comes with some cool out of the box customizable functions, like TimeWarp Video, Time Lapse Video and Photos. The picture and video quality is really good. Zoom is a bit lack luster, but that may be common among action cameras. The big selling point of the Go Pro Hero 7 Black vs any other Hero 7 or previous generation is the HyperSmooth stabilization. This is fantastic. I have run around and jumped off some stairs with this camera and the play back was as advertised. The features smooths out the video and you don't get the jittery footage. Last but not least, I will comment on the battery life. It is advertised to get about 2 hours. I don't have any real comparison basis for what you should expect, but 2 hours doesn't seem like a long time. During my usage, the battery seems to drop pretty quickly. I would say you would definitely get a good hours worth, but 2 hours may be a stretch. Other factors may play into my low battery life, but I haven't played around with the settings too much to determine any factoring. But I can only assume that if GPS and Wi-Fi is enabled, the battery will run down a bit quicker, so keep that in mind if you need more than an hour. Over all, a great little camera and I look forward to all the fun footage.

Came from a 3+ to this. Ease of use with modes with swipe feature is easy. Ease of transferring video to editing software via “Quik” super easy. I make videos that present professionally edited with my phone alone. I don’t even have to spend hours on my desktop to make high quality vids.

Super great quality videos and still shots. Have at least 20 memory cards. Use it for kids sports games. I have a few attachments I use for on the car, inside/outside as well. Also available is a waterproof case for snorkeling etc.

used my new gopro camera in the Florida keys, took videos of the sunset on island of sunset key, wonderful! the guest wanted to know what kind of camera I had. they were impressed with stabilization and clarity of videos.

The camera is excelent, it has a very good definition, it's the best one to action moves, sports, water games, pool times with family, but you have the best of the camera only if you're near the objective or doing something awsome. If you need to use a zoom, it's not the right one.

I originally wanted a Dashcam for my car but hated the wires hanging from the windshield. So I went with a GoPro Hero 7 Black and its amazing! Im actually using it as a Dashcam, taking pictures, and also doing rolling shots for my car! Works great with many features! Highly Recommended!

This is my first GoPro and I’m just impressed with the overall capabilities with it. I asked my friends who have had older modelsand they agree that this tops all previous models. I can say that the gropro 7 black is dope af. The hyper smooth doesn’t work on 4K so that’s my only complaint.

First gopro . I am glad i picked this one! Super easy to use. GET ANOTHER BATTERY AND HUGE MEMORY CARD FOR THIS.It tends to run outta battery pretty quick and use up alot of memory. Over all a Great camera/video camera. This camera has minor zoom not to crazy.

I recently upgraded from a hero 3+ silver to the hero 7 black. Absolutely amazing camera! I use it riding my motorcycle and the quality is perfect. No more bouncy videos, just crisp clear recordings. So much easier to operate and the interface with the app on my phone is so quick and easy.

Every version of the GoPro gets a bit more user friendly and that is again the case with the HERO7. I haven't tried all of the features yet, but the 4K video is stunning. I use it almost exclusively on the water, so it's ability to get wet is the most valuable feature for me.
