This camera is very easy to use and has a very good wide angle lens that helps you take selfies even without an accessory attached. Rugged, compact and great quality pictures.

Video quality is amazing, love the stabilize feature as well. The only negative is the battery life is not great and sometimes the electronics freeze and i have to remove the battery to reset it.

I spent a lot of time researching this camera and finally decided to get it. It a great camera with a lot of features for its size. For those who put it down in their reviews it's not a full size cinematic video camera..... but its the next best thing for its size. It can come really close to a full sized professional camera that fits In The palm of your hand. What some professional YouTube tips and tricks and you'll product amazing videos. Run in it in its default settings and you'll produce some great videos. Definitely get the back touch display screen protector, it's cheap protection

If your looking for smooth gimbal stabilized shots then you came to the right place! This camera takes amazingly steady video shots and the time lapse works flawless . No more stitching video required. However if I have any negative to say of this wonderful camera is this. 1) dose not come with a hard shell like previous models. 2)need to spend much More looking to attach a mic to this camera. 3) batterie life is so-so. That’s really it. I liked the older cameras for vloghing, and the ability to accept the mic. Now it’s an entire process. All in all... this is still the best GoPro ever made!

Good camera and quality. But it barely records on one hour on a battery. Woulda got the 8 black but would have made it worse. Easy to use though

By now, we are all pretty aware of the image quality coming from action cams and GoPros. The Hero 7 Black edition is my personal favorite. All of my attachments and accessories from the Hero5 still work (ND Filters, cases, mic adapter, etc.) and it still has the removable lens cover (it's an action cam, and I have a tendency to crack or scratch mine). The glass replacement and backwards compatibility is what helped me choose the 7 over the 8. ONLY downside is that while you can run the camera from an external power pack, this works a lot better with the internal battery removed. So if you forget to pop the battery back in after using the external, it can be a little frustrating and lead to lost footage (ask me how I know, ha).

have many gopro cameras and this has to be the best one I own, I record a lot of active running working out videos and this has incredible stability with little to no noticeable shake when recording. like most go pros the battery life is not the greatest but if you package this deal with a couple of backup batteries you'll be fine, battery life is around 45mins recording time at 4k 60 fps but when recording at lower resolution you can look at around 2 hrs of recording time. overall a amazing product I would recommend this to anyone looking for a small vlogging camera.

My wife and I put this things through the ringer during our 2 week honeymoon. Hands down the best GoPro ever!! The built in stabilization is INSANE!! Of course shooting 4K quality at high frame rates is crazy too! Highly recommended for anyone that is looking for a high quality and somewhat affordable video camera. Definitely can be used to vlog too if you're into that. Stay creative!!

I was new to this type of camera and it really is very easy to use. Love the quality of videos and no bouncing motions. Edited is hard, but I knew that going in.

Love using the HERO7. It's user friendly and hyper smooth captures are fantastic for anyone on the go. Would recommend to vloggers or anyone traveling. The waterproof feature is a nice perk as well!

This little camera is amazing like pretty much all other GoPro products. Great new stabilization and the options to run 4k 2k and standard HD. Takes great photos as well. The camera does get pretty hot under operation in 4k and 2k modes.

I've had this camera for about 6 months and used to film the activities of my three year old. It produces stunning quality video - up to 4K 60 fps. It's easier to get good quality video captured vs a phone camera (even great phone cameras like Pixel or iPhone). The connection with the Android app leaves a little to be desired (at least on Pixel with Android 9 or 10) - a often have to repair the camera with the app. However, it's easy enough to get content off the camera via a cable or SD card faster anyway. I also wish some of the accessories were cheaper.

We took a cruise to the Bahamas and used this nearly every day. It was easy to set up and use. The videos look great. We used this in the ocean with no problems at all. The only problem I have with this is trying to get the battery and memory card out. The buttons you have to press to get them out are a pain in the butt. A couple weeks after I bought this, the HERO8 came out for the same price I paid for this, which sucks, but it is no fault of the Go Pro or Best Buy, just on me for buying this when I did.

As a Realtor, I was looking for a way to increase my marketing into the world of video. This GoPro was super easy to set up & use productively right from the start! A professional video company I’d used in the past was blown away by the quality of the video I was posting...couldn’t beat the price, for sure! The only negative is the housing the GoPro snaps into is incredibly difficult to remove to charge the battery etc. I’m definitively looking into other options. Overall I highly recommend the GoPro for professional looking video for your business needs.

This camera makes it super smooth without needing an external gimbal. Picture quality is great. Battery life is disappointing, though.

My first purchase in the action camera genre and I decided to go with the top dog in the GoPro line. The HyperSmooth feature was the hook for me and it works! Capturing video while mounted on my helmet or on the handlebar was very smooth. My only complaint is the battery life. However, I don't have any basis for comparison. Recording at 1080p @ 60 fps only lasted about 45 minutes. Given the fact that HyperSmooth was actively stabilizing the video probably accounts for this. Buy extra batteries and a charger, you'll need them. For now, my rating is a 5-star.
