We got this for all of our trips camping. We recently used it as a dash cam and it worked great. The trip was 3+ hours and the battery only lasted about 2 hours. Due to it being in a case on the dash mount we had no way of charging it while it was plugged in. We also took it on a shorter trip and the camera shut its self off due to the heat. I like that it has the function to do that. The next trip is a 3 day backpacking trip!

Have taken video underwater, both fresh and salt, many times this summer. Has many features and captures good still and motion pics.

Easy to use, battery does run out quickly, but other than that a great product

Pretty solid camera especially if you get it at a good price. Seems a bit slower to start up from powered off compared to my GoPro session, but better picture. A gripe with the design is that because it is not symmetric like the session, you are sometimes stuck with landscape or portrait depending on your mount attachment.

I bought the camera for a cruise. The first problem is battery life, it’s horrible and u are not able to change the battery. Having to charge it every few hours doesn’t work. I highly suggest going ahead and getting the HERO7 black. Better picture, video quality. It has GPS and yes you can change the battery. I returned the white with in 3 days and paid the money for the black. So far so good.

Rugged on its own and shoots great quality videos. Very simple to use.

Overall excellent product, the fact it is waterproof creates the option of taking photos where taking the iphone was a little risky Couple of pain points - Controls keep switching between photo/video etc. when you dunk it in the water - File transfer to your phone is torture the whole wifi network thing not good.

The HERO7 is one amazing camera......especially for the price! Takes great photos and videos whether your above or under water.

I know why everybody says this cameras not that good for $200 I think this cameras great it takes great 1080 peak film it film movies the drawback is that it takes a while for it to upload but I mean it it's cheap it's durable you can put it in water you can take it swimming you can take pictures you can take 4K video for the money I think it was well worth it

The Hero7 was on sale and i figured "eh why not". This item is easy to use and took great footage and pictures of my vacations.:)

Good video quality and long battery life. It is waterproof and handles going on paddle boards well.

This seems like a good little camera, but didn’t really work for its intended purpose. The SD card doesn’t always seem to want to work (perhaps a different one will behave better) and WiFi connectivity seems spotty, but it’s a cute little camera and otherwise useful device with lots of possibilities, so we kept it.
