I decided to take this go pro on a trip down the Pine and Sturgeon River kayaking. It was a very exciting experience. I caught a cool memory of how fast it was that day. Its easy to operate. And will use this at other functions. I'm hoping to get to go parasailing this summer. I couldn't go last year because of the pandemic. Its a fun camera to have.

The camera fits anywhere and it is easy to use. It’s not 4K, but the pic quality is still good.

The camera itself is great at what it does. But I feel like I should have purchased the go pro hero black as the silver is lacking a lot of the features that I would have liked to use. I didn’t do enough research ahead of time and the sales person I dealt with wasn’t knowledgeable enough to help me make the right decision.

It’s easy to mount and use. The picture is great too.

The quality of the video surprised me, very pleased. Easy to use. Good for beginners.

Used for snorkeling in Maui. It was good however the modes (photo, video etc) would sometimes change without any input from me. Otherwise video was good but not great. Battery life was rather weak as well.

Perfect for what I needed. Just bought a kayak and it mounts great to the front. Functionality and quality are great and it being waterproof makes it that much better. No internal storage, though, so you have to buy an SD card to store your footage.

Little tricky to figure out at first. Doesn’t come with a manual but has one online. Seems to be recording ok though in short 17 min segments which we have yet to figure out. Picture and sound look good. Every once in a while it glitches so we’re keeping our eye on that.

The video turned out great. The only complaint that I have is that the mode would change when swimming and I would miss a shot. it would switch to timelapse or video when it was on photo. Just check the mode before pressing the shutter button.

Excellent camera for timelaps needs. Easy to use. Great picture quality and color.

I took this GoPro to Jamaica and was not let down by it all. The build is great, the quality is great of the GoPro and the videos AND pictures it takes. I love the app and being able to edit videos and colab with other videos. I was not let down by this camera at all. I did get it on sale and would recommend waiting for a sale just because the new one is already out and even better!

Durable. My wife and I mounted one on our Jeep when we worked as surveyor in the Amazon Jungle. If it weren’t for this camera, we would have lost all the footage of us being chased through the jungle,smashing into each other at high speeds until we both slid over the cliff and into the Pacific Ocean 100 meters below. When I say it’s a good camera, it’s a good camera.

Videos and pictures come out nice and clear. It’s easy to use as well as the app.

Purchased one for my daughter a few years ago. I recently went zip lining in the white mountains and rented one. I liked the quality of the video I received. So when I got back from my trip, I purchased one of my own bc I plan on going zip lining with some friends soon and didn’t want to rent another one again.

For basic recording and overall use I would say this is a safe starter camera for those that don't want to break the bank and get a Black Version, however in the end for the type of footage I take I have some regrets not getting the black version.

This was a quick last minute purchase to capture outdoor photos during adventure excursions during a recent vacation (water activities, zip lining, hiking). Needed to pull a few you tube videos to support set up but otherwise memories are captured.
