I love this camera so much! Getting into surf photography and video and this is a great start!

It’s my first GoPro I use for Fpv drone flying , they are tuff little cameras , It does it’s job.

I am having some trouble with my camera because sometimes the camera just suddenly restarts, I don't know if this is normal or not.

This is good camera for beginners although the video Quality isn’t the best and as it says on the box it seems to work better with an iPad Pro rather than a pc. Besides that it seems to be a very usable camera.

I got this for my son went to use this on a trip and it worked for a few hours until the panel to the SD snapped off (he managed to put it back on properly but it refused to lock). Later that same day water gets into the camera less but no big deal right? The camera still worked but then the image became blurry then shutdown and refuses to turn on or even charge (no red light appears when plugged in) Honestly its just money thats down the toilet now.

Not only does it have to constantly be rebooted to sync to your phone, after 4 Months the SD Card cover snapped off when I went to charge the phone. POOR quality product. GoPro use to make superior products but apparently not anymore.

I have this GoPro, a GoPro Hero 8 and a GoPro Hero 9. This GoPro seems to always have issues and I just had it replaced because the 1st one recorded whenever it wanted and was impossible to turn off. The side door of this new 1 has now broken off. Spend the extra money and get the GoPro 9! You will not be disappointed!

This camera is really good, it takes excellent video recordings either outdoors or indoors. Video quality looks really crisp and with less noise during indoor shots, sound recording is also very good. The only weakness I have is the battery, which doesn't last for more than 1.2 hours or sometimes less, not sure why, I have turned all wireless radios off to conserve battery power and also make the screen time on less that the average. Over excellent camera and great features.

The hero 7 caught my attention due to the 4k and very comfortable price point. It functions as its suppose to and with complete control with the iOS app. The footage in 4k is crisp and clear, but the wind noise was atrocious. Battery life is like 45-50 mins when recording in 4k. 1080p in 60fps or 30fps saves a bit of battery life, but don't expect to get over 2 hours of life. Overall its worth the money for simple recording.

used for outdoor research trip. The battery has just an average capacity. Luckily we had portable power banks. Need to verify what memory cards work with this specific model! The size matters here! Easy to set up and connect to the go pro application and my phone. This was significantly discounted model, otherwise I would recommend other models. The battery is my main concern.

I've had the GoPro Hero 7 Silver for about 1 month. I bought it for the easy to carry size adaptability. First, the good...takes great pictures and has a very wide 10 MP lens that captures much more than typical cameras and smart phones. It is water proof and can take 4K Ultra HD video at 30 frames per sec or 1080 HD at 60. Some nice voice control features. Can take bursts of pictures. Price not very expensive. Things to be aware of... No external battery means send for repair to replace. No HDMI port to connect to TV. The Hero 7 Black resolves these but is more pricey. Very limited zoom. Freezes at times (10% of times) and needs to be restarted. Many features at least the one I bought (unaware) only work with I-Phone, I-Pod, I-Pad through an App. not Android. My advice is to compare features carefully especially with the Hero 7 Black to see if it's better to buy.

Hello this camera has great quality, cool new features and compact as usual. Only thing this camera truly lacks that makes me regret buy it is charging options. Does not have exchangeable battery for continuous filming. Otherwise camera is regret if you do not mind that.

I am mainly using it to record my biking adventures and the stabilizing is AMAZING. 4k looks really good too and the sound recording is impeccable. The biggest con I have to say is the poor battery it comes with. Since it's not replaceable or interchangeable, it may be a hassle if you want to record in 4k for long periods of time in a given day, for as the 4k drains the battery faster than standard HD. Another thing I gotta say is that it will power off when it overheats. Did not know that was a thing until recently. I get heating may cause damage internally but why does it heat up so easily? Should be heat resistant to a certain point in my opinion. I would recommend if you're looking to record your outdoor activities and don't mind mostly recording in standard HD.

This is an ok GoPro - I cannot give it 5 stars! It does not have a removable battery and it locks up a lot! This is just my honest experience; now the GoPro 10, that one is awesome!

Good camera for price, highly recommend easy to download photos to laptop or just downloading that app also works very good and easy to get the hang of. Also picture quality is awesome and sound is on point. Charges very quickly. Super light weight camera. I took it into a fire to record some training and it didn’t melt so that’s a plus for me
