This really has nothing to do with Best Buy. Obviously their return policy is limiting. I bought this GoPro in August 2019. After I uploaded footage Dec 2019, I inserted the SD card back into the GoPro. After I turned it on, it said no SD. It began to overheat, would not turn off and said there was no SD card inside. All due to me not formatting the card again? I understand if it’s my error, but having to wait until my GoPro died on a full battery sucked. Yes I lost all my footage. It made some great video quality, and overall was a sturdy camera. GoPro does not accept repairs if you’ve purchased from another vendor, to my knowledge.

Works as advertised. Relatively easy to follow instructions and create short videos. The only complaint is the housing the connects the camera to a helmet or scuba mask could be of higher quality.

I received the GoPro 7 Silver as a birthday gift for an upcoming trip to Iceland. I used it daily and it took amazing pictures and videos. Once in a while it would freeze up but after resetting it worked out fine. All in all a great purchase

I charged this camera, took it on our second honeymoon and I am so glad that I took a second camera so that I at least have some pictures. We got to the beach, I pulled the Go pro out, took 1 short movie and something I hit or swiped on the screen, and could not get it to do anything else, I thought it was toast. I plugged it in to recharge the battery, and nothing. I tried charging it a couple more times, and still nothing. The camera never would turn on, our entire trip. I get home, and thought I would try it again and it turned on. I still have no idea why it happened. This is why I say it is way, way too finicky.

My son requested this for his depolyment. He was so excited to see i actually got it for him. He has used it multiple times so far and is very pleased with the quality and durability of it.

I had one of the original go pros… And it’s time had come. It was stuck in the case and couldn’t get it out so it was time for an upgrade. Have to see the picture below is the original away. Dynamic, deep colors, and a great focus. Certainly worth the investment especially with today’s higher resolution TVs

Takes nice pictures & video. Having some difficulties with the app to control the camera. According to research I should be able to zoom in on the app but that doesn't show on my phone.

Decided to upgrade since I was going on a trip to Hawaii I had the first GoPro that was in a full plastic case which muffled sound recording a lot of the time. This model didn't have that full case and was good for going snorkeling around the reef without an extra protection. Video quality and sound is great.

this camera is amazing. the stabilization is awesome. it creates amazing video and i highly recommend this camera. only problem is the price, it was 400 but i think it is a little cheaper now that the hero 8 is out.

I like it. It’s durable and waterproof. I like to make sure I’m always recording in 4K for better quality video. We used it while white water rafting and our video turned out great!

I like that it helps edit videos. The downside is the battery dies quickly and the memory card only holds so much. So you either have to delete videos in order to record, down load them or buy extra memory cards

The sound recording on it is actually pretty decent. It also takes great pictures. Used it on the beach and it produced great videos. Would definitely recommend. Did lag and freeze on me the first time I used it.

Coming from the Hero 2 series this product is a huge improvement. Built-in wifi and the new OS has made everything a lot easier with this. The picture quality and video stabilization is phenomenal. I am happy with the current price point.

I bought my GoPro open box and couldn’t be happier with the purchase. It shoots in 4K video and has tones of settings by way of the app. If you’re on the fence about getting one of these cameras, do it you won’t be disappointed.

After planning a trip to the east coast, I decided that I wanted to enjoy the scenery of the cities I would visit without having to worry about the video quality or battery life on my phone. This is a great tool to use to vlog or capture any unique moments.

My son loves this. I purchased it for his 10th birthday because he wants to do Youtube videos. The camera is very small, compact and efficient. I did purchase the extended protection plan due to how small the camera is.

Bought this for a FL trip and found it to be great fun. Little to figure out for the setup, and wasn't difficult to employ for the shots we needed. Altogether good picture quality and battery life. Would recommend for the price!

Our Little Sky wanted a GoPro. She lives in the Caribbean and wanted to use it for snorkeling. So, we bought her this GoPro and an snorkeling kit. She loved it!

Definitely if you making a trip related with nature and underwater recording I’ll recommend it, never owned a GoPro if you want to have full experience of it have to get a couple of accessories
