    My wife loves it

My wife mentioned wanting to take pictures under water of our son in the pool, but wouldn't dare try one of those underwater bags for her DSLR. I picked this up for her for mother's day and she loves it. She was a bummed it doesn't shoot RAW, but didn't want to spend the extra money for an upgraded one. This looks fine to mess around with in the pool and take pictures/videos of our son. Since we're only using it at the pool for a few hours each time, the battery has been no problem at all. It did take some time getting it connected to her phone since the software options and included manual have different instructions, but I figured it out eventually. After comparing the differences between this one and the most expensive model, I can tell you the quality is night and day, but if you just want something like this to mess around with, then this is a perfect little gadget.

It works for what I need it to do. If you record on 60 fps for too long, the camera gets hot and stops recording and shuts off, so I switch it to 30fps and it records a little bit longer. The battery life isn't the best and not being able to swap batteries out is a pain. Overall, I'm glad I'm not doing any expensive recording with it, but it's good enough for now.

I love my go pro. I bought it to record/watch film for my girls soccer team. The application is easy to use and the gro pro gives so many options in capturing videos and photos.

This was a Christmas gift for my son - the number one item he wanted! He absolutely loves it and uses it all the time, especially when he is skiing. Can't wait to see what he captures this summer! It was the right purchase for him given his age and usage.

I love this camera. It's perfect for my YouTube videos, my day out on the town. Great for my walls with my dogs, perfect for my walls and when I want to record stupid people doing stupid stuff.

Its a good go pro but the battery is built in. If you are recording and it dies, this means the battery cannot be switched out to just resume shooting. Downfall for me. Otherwise good so far.

Our 10-year old has been sending videos since Christmas. Nice during Covid times. No instructions of any kind anywhere though. That part is frustrating.

Great camera, wish it had more lens options, and the battery can run out quickly when taking videos. Otherwise it works great for what I need.

He has loved it. The only problem we have had is the battery going dead and having to wait for it to charge. The more expensive ones with a removable battery would have been a better choice for him I think.

It was hard to tell if the camera was actually working since I had it in my head. However, when I returned home from my hike and plugged it in to the tv the picture and sound was great.

This is my first GoPro and it was surprisingly easy to set up and use. I'm still getting used to the features and looking for useful accessories, but it should be a very handy camera.

Pretty Good Product with Small Screen

This is a pretty good camera with a small screen. It's almost like you need tiny hands to use the touch screen. I ended up advancing the screen many times and then going back and forth to get to the screen that I want to see. The directions are fine if you have hours to read through and figure everything out. It could be faster to just go to YouTube to watch a video. I'm still trying to figure this camera out. I brought the protection plan so I'm not worried about anything going wrong. It looks really small but you get used to it.

My in-laws gave this camera to my son for his HS graduation. He has made some very creative and high quality videos for his social media account. Now he is making them for his friend now as well. High quality camera and I recommend it.

While on the way to a Mountain biking trip, we were discussing rule #1 of doing pretty much anything (look cool doing it) and how to prove we abided to this standard. My friend who is a jet pilot (essentially Tom Cruise) told me to get a GoPro (not some knock off bs with fake image stabilization). I chose the Silver 7 due to price/feature set, and I am the opposite of disappointed. Blown away by the leaps and bounds made since the hero2 days. The best part might be the seamless video transfer to your phone via wifi that the gopro emits. Once on your phone, use the free gopro app to automatically make a pro xgames style video to "cooler than me" or your second favorite song. Get all those falls on tape, look good doing it.

I like the camera and the view screen. Once you put it in the frame to attach the strap, you have to take it out of the frame each time to remove the micro SD card, and to charge it.
